She yawned breifly, listening to the no accounts words before she spoke her own "Ah, but One does not cling to words as there only defense. Im not as stupid as I play off, dearie, and I don't make the first move, I recoil" She shrugged lightly, digging her claws into the trees bark. Poison didn't matter to her, she had dirty blood. She was made of more than one thing and poison already coursed through her veins, though she could not extract it. her saliva how ever was deadly, hot like fire and enough to cause one lots of pain. Once she bit soemthing, her saliva would infect them and cause death in a matter of seconds. So like a komodo dragon, she was immune to poison. But she loved the feeling as it rushed through her veins.
Looking over at Kera a moment she though "You know, neither of us coudl win this battle. I think we would both be wounded greatly, if we don't heal ourselves, and that would ammount to nothing. I don't back down from a fight, but I don't rightly like to fight. Not that im a coward, but I am only wondering if we should abondon this hopeless fight now and call a truce. I think in the near future if would be worthy to us both if we have..certain alliances?" She shrugged, this was something she had never done before, but she saw so much potential in Kera. Lestat wasn't in her natural form at the moment, and when she morphed this foxy thing it affected her mind, so she was acting like a child, for the body was that of a young one.

~Kera sat uncannily, her long white engulfed tail gently sweeping over the side of the branch as she listened the femme through. This was getting beyond interesting. It was amusing now. And the misty grayish fox did nothing to conceal the knowing grin upon her maw.
Letting the first few words spoken back to her go un-commented, Kera let the silence of the woods sink in again before speaking up. It was time to end this...~
'Yew have somewhat of a point, stranger. It's best we move on and leave this little... misunderstanding behind us. Who knows what the future holds?'
~Her dancing green eyes held a flicker of mischief behind them as she rose for the dozenth time in the past few moments, and started a flirty and rhythmic walk aimed past the other female and towards her mate; her eyes locked on Bane and revealing her dangerously cunning plan to him. Kera was rare to back down from an opportunity as this. After all, she wanted to see the hybrid land on her feet, or at least try too...~

-He instantly nods, knowig exactly what she's about to do, and smiles grimly at the idea. But a call invades his thoughts- Bane! -He looks up, that was Kael's voice. Was he in trouble? No alas, no, Kael was fine, his eyes say it all. We need to go. Now.-
Shit.. -He curses under his breath. He really wanted to see this. But he had orders to find this plant, not to dally with the creatures they found here. And orders came before personal pleasure.-
Kera -he says in a warning voice, as his mate looks back at him, his stoney eyes say it all as he nudges his head towards Kael. He stands up, stretches, and starts limbing expertly down the tree, completly ignoring Lestat.-

~The femme halts momentarily; her ears flickering back towards their human boy, and then forward as she hears her name called.
Darn it. Their fun was cut short. One thing she hated about the man kind was their crappy timing. But she was over it in a second. After all, the future was ahead of them. And something told her this would replay itself...~
'Until we meet again, then...'
~Kera turned her head slightly, to look the opposing female up and down. They were right beside each other now; both perfectly centered on the branch. If only the call had come a second later...~
'Be careful in these parts. Yew never know what's out to get yew...'
~She smiled warmly. Falsely. She was too use to this. It was custom now. She needed not think it over. And with that said and done, she leapt gracefully off the broad branch and landed neatly on another, mere feet below. Soon aligned with her mate, the two Fennec Foxes continued on their way...~

-He smiles weakly at them as they take their place slightly in front of him, showing their slightly higher rank. But once this mission was completled, he'd be higher than them. He had found their key to the plant, while they dallied with another vixen. Oh yes, he would be rewarded for this one.
He looks to Tibbs, his eyes saying 'lead the way', ready to follow in suit-

Ah, but her own plan had almost worked. But for there durn man. She shrugged, watching the wench and her mate walk by with a sigh. Hoping out of the tree, landing perfectly on her paws and unharmed, she morphed.
Standing in her place was a large panther, large than all panthers, with a whip like tail. Her talons where large, and her fangs met them. Flicking an ear, she turned, waiting for the day when she could kill the female and decided to walk off. But after a while, she lost all sense of the fox, and her normal instincts turned over. Mischeif, With, Cunning, and a few others things. Turning, she loped off

-Tibbs got the message and turned about, her cloak billowing with her every movement. she came to stand before her horse, whom she unsaddled. they were crossing a river, and there needed to be as small a load as possible. she grabbed the reins and swung herself upon his high back, Thestral lifting his head immediately and snorted with indignation. she looked back at Kael and the foxes, nodded towards their presumed direction, and nudged the black stallion into a slow, bouncy trot to the west.
Penter ruffled his feathers, had a quick preen, and flew off after them-

Watching through the trees, the stygian mare still stood. Her eyes gleamed as she walked through the woods, her hooves making no sound as she watched them. Despite feeling a tad lonley, yet not wanting company, she still felt curious. Auds touched her skull as she walked on, half knowing where they were going. Tossing her silver tresses behind her, and giving her head a slight shake to rid herself of her mane, giving her back the vision she needed, she continued to watch
As she walked on, the birds seemed to whistle at her, watching her every movement. Her long tail reached the ground, curling slightly and wavy, and her long mane reached her hocks, wavy and curled also. She was lean, but well muscled also, and she was solid black, no marks touching her. Her mane and tale where silver, and intwined in that silver was a fluid motion of black. She wasn't one to think she was beautiful, and she didn't care that she was, but obviously mother nature thought so.
Stepping lightly, she noted the foxes, brushing them aside, and then the male and female, also brushing them aside. She was a wild horse, and as she saw the stallion being rode by the human, she thought it odd, but she also brushed it aside. The only reason she followed, was to see them, see what they where doing. And with indignation, she resolved to following silently..and watching

-He walks silently behind her, giving her a weird look as she readiest to cross the river. When her back is turned, he nods slightly to the two foxes and they all teleport across. He sits on a log, watching her cross, slightly amused.
Finally, he can't take it anymore, and he coughs loudly, his eyes twinkling. But he catches them, and then turns them back to icy cold, letting no emotion in or out-

-Tibbs wheeled about on her horse, who absolutely refused to get into the water, and eyed Kael. He wouldnt be laughing if he were in her position. Then she started. How did he get there?! She dismissed it, planning to dwell on it later. She had things to deal with right now.
Finally she was fed up and dropped the reins. She slipped off of Thestral's back and glared at him in his eyes. The horse's prancing had stopped when she got off, thinking he wouldnt have to cross now.
The girl grabbed onto his reins and pulled, wading out a few inches in the water. The horse stretched out his neck, not budging one bit. Tibbs fumed. She pulled harder, bracing herself. All of a sudden Thestral gave a jolt forward, almost knocking her over, as Penter 'accidentally' hooked him in the rump with a talon. The bird now glided across the river, an almost laughing screech echoing from above.
Unfortunately for Tibbs, as the horse released his force on the rein, she didn't. The slack loosened and she fell back into the shallow water. Then she began to be dragged, her wrist caught in the leather of the rein. She went under several times, feeling the wake of Thestral's legs propelling him and herself across the water. She began to pull herself over onto his wet black back, and draped herself over him like a dead body, gasping for air and spitting out the cold river water. Then the horse turned in an arc in the water, and returned to where he had started. Drenched and unhappy, she waited until they had climbed up the same bank they had started from to slap the horse hard behind his ears.-
You idiot...-she couldnt find the strength just yet to slide off Thestral's back-

-He feels a smile coming on as the edges of my lips start to twitch, but he holds it back. He sighs and mutters a simple spell- one of the first he learned since it always rained where he and Fire stayed at first. One to make you dry.
In a second, Tibbs is no longer soaked to the bone, or dirty with mud. The cuts on her shirt remain but they're stitched up now. But nobody had even touched her. Kael winks a bit and then says another. She's teleported across the river. He telepaths a message through her head.-
hey.. are we going or what?

-the girl just stands limply, holding herself up only by sheer will. All color was drained from her face. First she was over there...with the d**n
horse...now she was over here...completely dry.
Her arm gave a jerky twitch as she stared blankly ahead of her, past Kael, trying to find a logical explanation. Magic doesn't exist...it doesnt!! then how'd i get over here, dry as a stick?!
she thought she might pass out. it was overwhelming. surely...magic CANT be real... once again, because of her sheer will she stayed concious. But her eyes were still confused-
Err...right...th-this way....-she set off a bit shakily, almost tripping but catching herself and continuing on, thoughts still locked on what had just happened. Penter, who had made it to this shore, perched upon her shoulder. She stroked his head, as if trying to console herself.-

-He gives a tight lipped, closed mouth satanic kind of grin as he gets up from the log and follows her, the two foxes trotting up in front of him again.
Bane shoots him a reproachful look. How dare he use his magic on an unknowing mortal. The fewer humans who knew of the lands beyond this one, and the magic and power there, the better. Kael innocently cocks his head, twitching one eyebrow up as though asking 'why my dear bane, what is wrong?'
he continues to follow and tries to make convorsation as they go.. more words, or feelings rather, float across her head.-
You speak of your father highly.

-she absently talked back over her shoulder, still a bit dazed, but over it more or less. she wove between random trees and rock outcrops as she spoke-
My father was a good man. As a matter of fact, he was a better man than anybody could be...every ounce of muscle he put to work to give me what I needed. He never thought of himself...-she choked and bit her lip, trying to keep it from trembling. she was determined not to dredge up tears...not now. not after being humiliated already- -she stopped and listened for noises for a second, then continued on, a large grove of trees clumped together could be seen in the distance...that was their destination...-
-she then realized: she hadn't spoken of her father...at all. was this guy reading her mind? more magic? no!!! magic doesnt exist!!!! she began to ask him a question now..it was only fair that she got an answer equivalent to her own partial one, trying to keep her mind off of her father, and 'magic'-
So where exactly are you from?

Well not from around here, that's for sure.. -He reply's vaugely. The words show up a bit more precicly in her mind. Or perhaps she's just getting better at reading the feelings.
He looks around in interest, at the different kinds of trees and plants, such things he would never find in any of the places he had lived. Things which seemed far too primitive for him, yet too advanced at the same time. Hard to explain, he supposes.-
-He shoots Kael a look that clearly says a sarcastic 'ooh, nice answer.' He flaunts his bushy tail at the human and then races up a bit farther to be with Kera before he can recieve a dirty glance and hand gesture from the human-]
