-it began on the crest of a lightly powderred hillside, a towering figure of grace and power. the black horse's long legs made deep ditches in the terrain as he bore his master over the snow. he eased into a low trot, stopping at the base of an evergreen tree. Thestral immediately lowerred his royal obsidian head to graze the sparse lichen. With a light crunch of snow, the wanderer dismounted, standing beside her steed, patting him with a gloved hand. A deep green cloak was drawn about her face, concealing her facial features to a censored shadow. she pulled the cloak tight around her lithe frame, the air being a bit nippy. but she still wore the sleeveless deer hide tunic and the mid-femur length trousers. but the sandals were replaced by brown leather boots which were eased over the trouser cuffs, going as high as mid-femur, as always. green-blue eyes scanned the surroundings before she lifted the gloved hand into the air and was weighed down by a red-tailed hawk, which immediately perched itself upon her shoulder.- we need a fire, do we not, Penter? -she began walking towards a deadened tree-

-A dark shadow falls upon the crisp snow-blanketed earth. The lagre shadow splits into two, one tall, muscular, with broad human-like shoulder and a large build. The other, about the size of a wolf, with huge bat-like ears and a huge poofy tail. But then the shadows dissapear.
Up in a nearby tree, Kael realizes his mistake. He and Bane, a magically enlarged Fennec Fox had been on a mission in the human realm for almost a moon. Fire had sent him on a mission to find something- a plant, and he had sent Bane to help him, and for defense, for Fire did not totally trust that this boy, whom he had converted from an ancient like african village, could take care of himself out of his element.
Kael curses silently under his breath, his light lavander eyes glowing with anger. His dark tanned complextion blends him in with the shadows but his light blondish hair stands out and he tries to climb higher, Bane at his feet, trying to become invisible.
Fire had said to not be seen. He would not ruin all his work for nothing-

-the horse lifted its head, ears backed and eyes gleaming. it snorted and went back to the moss. Tibbit was bent over, trying to pick up more sticks than it was possible to. Penter's head immediately swiveled round, and his sharp yellow eyes darted into the trees. they focused, and then he gave a shrill screech. Tibbs dropped everything, clattering to the snow coverred earth with a thud. in a flash a dagger magically appeared in her hand, having been concealed in the many pocket of her cloak. she backed herself against the dead tree, eyeing all- Show yourself! If you mean me any harm then you should draw your weapon now! -she spat- I'm going to count to ten...then I'm going to...to...-she looked a bit threatened- do something!!!

((yes, i haven't joined these. sorry haven't got to it. tired. yeah...lol.luvs you all still))
A large black mare stood atop a snow-engulfed crest. Tabiries grazed over the steed and his companion, audits laced back as her tail swished softly. An inaudible snort was given as her large strangley blue orbs gazed at the mane and his companion and tail swished irritably again. They where invading her space. The lone mare sighed, as she stood there. Her stygian pelt gleamed magnificintly, and her long silver mane and tail both reached the ground and curled lightly. She was radiant. Silver hooves touched the ground, digging the ground below and leaving her prints in the snow. She was a wild beast, and radiant, and she was as large as any male. Mug dropped as her perfectly arched neck, swanlike, straightened and she stood there, still watching them
Some creature also watched the pair. The creature had no species, for she had large black eyes, large black ears, long muscular legs, a long elegant white body, a long white tail, and her feet where tipped in black. She was graceful in fact, but she matched no species yet. She was large, powerful in fact and muscular, and had roamed this place for a short while. She looked at the mare and clicked her tongue, but stood where she was blending and watching the others. She was like a fox in a way, yet..something else.

-He smiles sadistically. He was no fool. He could tell by the way she held her dagger, she knew how to fight, despite her shaking hand. If he showed himself, she would attack, or that is the way ib]he would do it if he were in her place. Of course, he was quite parinoid. But that could save his life once or twice.
He stays put, climbing higher and higher, with Bane thick on his trail, sometimes going in front of him, leading the way through the thick leaves. He finally reaches the top after what seems to be hours but is in reality about a half a minute. He hides himself in the branches, slipping his hand deftly into one of the many pouches tied to a band of leather, which encircles his waist. He also had a few secret pockets in his extra baggy pants, which were velvet so they would make no sound when he moved. His feet are without shoes, completly bare, but he had adjusted to this when he was 3 and can't even feel the cold.
He smiles, bring the chosen tiny dagger. It's about as large as his middle finger, but it would get the message across. He quickly flicks his wrist back and sends it soaring, missing her on purpose. It lands about two inches from her leg. He stays silent. She already knew he was there. No point in hiding. But if he could frighten her a bit, unnerve her, he would have the advantage.-

((tell meh if this colour's taken))
-she smirked, after being startled a bit by the fling. scare tactics. been there, done that. deftly she reached down and grasped the small knife by the blade, feeling it cut into her slightly. her one rule: never let a weapon go to waste. she raised her head to look into the treetops, hood falling from her face, her dark blonde hair standing out like a beacon from her forest-shaded clothing. she had been alone in this wilderness for almost four years now...she was no fool either. she strode to her horse, her own dagger between her teeth, and began pulling something from the many ropes and ties of her saddle. with a few tugs, her rowan-oak bow came free, and she strung onto it a long, barbended arrow. with only a few seconds of aiming, for she knew she would hit her mark, she sent the arrow flying, and heard with her sharp ears the thunk of it embedding itself into the bark of the treetops, between the boy's thighs, just below an area that might have really hurt if she had a mind to shoot there. she leaned back against the tree again, watching and waiting for the acknowledgement that her warning had taken effect-

The large black mare reared high and challenging, letting a call ring down to the creatures below as she ran off
The white fox like creature slinked silently down the hilltop. Soon she was close to the base of the tree, and hidden in the green bushes, her fur changing colour to blend in. The only thing that could be seen where her eyes, and they glowed when the light cought them. Without looking up she spoke to the male and his companion, Bane "Looks to me child that she is as good as you" She didn't know either of them, and her voice was wise as she spoke. All she knew was that she saw the fox like thing, and he was kinda handsom
((yah, ignore my purty horse and the foxxy thing. lol))

(Sorry it took me so long to get here ;D)
~The overcasting sun beat through the thickly packed green treetop leaves, casting various shadows along the snowy forest floor. A slight breeze started up through the generally peaceful woods; a wave of soft rustling breaking the silence. For a moment, but only a moment, time seemed to stand still, as if waiting for one event to fulfill its destiny and recall its rank, in turn allowing the forest to continue with its circle of life.
Then, it all came rushing back. The trees swaying. The birds singing. The wild animal inhabitants lurking. The clouds in the wide overhead sky drifting. And one creature seemed to be the center of attention now. A foxlike being, the size of a wolfess, feminine and flirtatious, not the least bit trying to conceal herself amongst her surroundings.
Her name was Kera. But what's a name worth when looks said it all? Lean, sturdy, and flexible, the young magical Fennec Fox stalked along a lone branch; one that was royal and ancient while willing to handle her weight. The leaves in hey way seemed to part in her presence, but it was not so. Just an illusion to any eye which fell upon the femme.
As she traveled on, very beam of direct sunlight that was fortunate enuff to land on her smoky white pelt was reflected in an icy ivory glow, giving her quiet the angelic appearance. But her murky green eyes held a stone cold glare, masked by a flirty and tempting gleam, showing she was far from pure.
Walking up to the trio in the treetops, Kera weaved her way around the other female fox creature. She halted for a moment, giving the stranger a quick and challenging look over as she was way too close to her Bane. With a slight snort, the misty grey femme took another few steps forward, and sat neatly beside her mate's side; her warm face enclosing in his neck in a loving nuzzle. She had fallen behind, being the lady she was, to take a drink from a nearby lake before continuing the quest they had set out upon. But it had only taken a minute of her absence for another to lay eyes upon her man. But Kera knew better. She knew Bane would never deceive her. She knew the one who dared try and take him, would pay...~

From below, the white fox creature looked at the female, apearing now in the tree. A hiss escaped from her mouth, challenging the female that challenged her. Lestat never backed away from a challenge. Audits peirced her skull as she snarled, her long white fangs seemed to grow from her mouth, and the world seemed to stop again. Oh, Kera wasn't the only creature who had raving beauty, who could make the world look at her. Lestat was pure charm, and pure evil. Pure wit came in to. Her peircing eyes changed to orbs of dark black. Ah, Kera shouldn't tred on water she wasn't willing to swim in.
Long plush tail swished out behind her, deep black auds perked as she stopped snarling, and her steaming saliva dropped to the ground. She took no mind to the male. He was handsom, but he didn't have power and evil that she needed, so this wench could have him. But no challenge would go unheaded. Reaching out a paw with lightning speed she scratched at the female as her back was turned, ehr talons at least a good 10 inchs long now. Her fangs seemed to grow for a moment as lips pulled back again, and then it was gone. Just and illusion, but her talons as she reachedout where 10 inches long, but her fangs where normal, as of yet.
And then she lept down. No she wasn't running, she was no coward. Landing next to the girl she rubbed against her leg and purred, almost like a kitten. But then she lept atop the horse, and sat. Oh, causing all kinds of trouble today, no?

-He cocks an eye at Lestat as she retreats to the human. Yes, she was sly. Of course, he could see in her eyes, she wasn't ready for a challange. She knew that he had the power, or she wouldn't have given him an eye in the first place. But now that competition had arrived, she backdown after slashing from the back.- Typical vampire.. -He mutters under his breath as he stare sintently upon Kera's wound, instantly healing it so that not even scars were left.
He stares at the flirtatious vixen, the one who he had sworn to live his life with even before they had both been captured, tortured, turned evil, amd magically manipulated. But of couse, they liked it. The pain eventually gave them pleasure, and the power gave them more so. Bane was not one to show love, even liking somebody.
That is why he pays no attention to Kael. Yes, he liked the boy plenty, the human had shared his food and shelter with the overgrown fox and his mate several times. It was just- not his problem. It wasn't his challange. It wasn't his manhood that had just been cut off. Thus it wasn't his concern.
He stares into Kera's eyes, his own glassy orbs showing a glimmer of something he never showed. He always tried to hide. Love. He could not show this, it was a weakness in his eyes. But he could not help what he felt for Kera. And she knew it, even though he tried to act indiferent around her, she knew of his love. And it's quite obvious she liked it as well.
He smiles, staring at Lestat, his eyes clearly speaking for him. Think what you choose. But you know the truth. She leans back against the tree to watch the show.-
-He snarls, curling his upper lip in disgust. Fine, she would not be intimidated. That meant nothing. He would get her. [wishful thoughts, dear. GIRL POWER xD]
That in mind, he lets a word escape his lips, a bare whisper, blending in the whistling of the wind and the whisper of the trees. He dissapears, appearing in another tree, purposingly rustling the leaves, to let her know he was there. Then, he does it again. and again, rustling them all. As he leaves each tree, another simple one word spell keeps the leaves rustling every once and a while, giving the illusion that whatever was in there at a time was still in there. He smiles, perching himself hidden near the top of one of the shaking trees, watching her with satisfaction. The girl was from the human realm- she had never seen magic before. She didn't know what she was fighting. Yes, she could probably beat him had them been fighting on their own, no magic, but that was not the case, and he had his shelter, and his magic, full strength.-

((not a vampire. lol. and don't play bane like he knows what my char feels. he might regret it. lol))
She looked up at the male, and in her eyes showed nothing more than hunger, hunger for blood. In an instant she appeared back in the tree, where she was to begin with " Ah, so we have one who thinks he knows what I am ready for. Yes, I am ready for that challenge and If you want to fight then so be it, I shall fight. I am not afraid of you nor your pathetic female" She snorted rather loudly, her plush tail curling around her as she hissed, saliva flying from her lips. Time was moving now, for time had to run from her. She didn't think Bane had power, but obviously he was to self-imposed to understand that.
Her long talons curved, and unlike most creatures of fox origin, or wolf, they where sharp, not dull. No, she hadn't backed down after slashing from behind, she emrely didn't think the female would try and handle it. And of course the male had to step in, healing the 'pretty' little thing so she had no scars. Oh, how beautiful. Tear...tear...NOT! She shook her head, sporting two scars across her back. When she fought, she saw a sick glory in showing her wounds, and when the blood poured from her flesh she drank it openly

(Touchie ~Kera kept her cool, collected stand. Her olive green eyes kept focused on the stranger. When lashed out at, she simply took a step back, but responded in no matter. She knew she had Bane for that. Their relationship was unlike any other. They each knew what the other wanted. And right now, Kera was urging for a good old fashion brawl. The offender defiantly thought too highly of herself.
With a low growl, the smoky white femme rose; her long elegant frame perfectly in balance atop the thick branch. She eyed the opposing femme; her back to Bane so that she could feel his presence by her. Now it was time to act...~
"Pathetic? Yew, my dear, should not be the one talking. For it is yew who are out on a limp, with nowhere to go, but down..."
~Kera finished the sentence with a friendly smile, taking a step back towards the base of the branch were it sprouted from the tree trunk, and sitting again. She had no further thrill to commence with the fight. This stranger was not worth getting worked up over, by far. Kera would wait until the other party made the move, and only then would she join in full time. For now, the game of teasing was too juicy to pass, and she would let the female pick her words appart as she wished. It would show her real character...~

((lol. it was teasing. I can't im you anymore, my compy is messing up so im just replying, then going to bed. actually, lestat was at the treese base. lol))
She smiled, cruelly, at the feme "Apparently one can not say Limb right. Oh, and honey, Im at the tree's base, which means I can go up, or down" She smiled again, fangs apparently bared. A slight yawn was given. "Well its getting tireing. Your no fun at all. You can't even say stuff without it getting threw back at you. Im surpised you can even say pathetic without those pretty white ears of yours burning" Not that Lestat thought highly of herself. She merely loved to brawl, to fight. Rather she lost or won was of no matter, and she would be happy to tell the femme that she had lost before.
With a swoosh of her tail her crystal eyes glittered, her adrenaline beginning to pump. She licked her lips, a sadistic smile on her face as she looked at the ground "I might only be able to go down, which I doubt, but the ground does look inviting. I don't mind falling, or getting hit out of a tree, but Im part cat, and I land on my feet..." She hissed, her pink tongue flicking out of her mouth

-Thestral snorted indignantly as the fox-creature plopped itself upon his backside. When she leapt down, he retreated to grazing again, not caring in the least what was going on around him.
The girl was startled by the creature as it rubbed against her legs. She was about to move away when it beat her to it and bounded onto Thestral, and then back to the tree ((which we havent established as in or by as of yet )).
Penter, the hawk, only watched in amusement as the boy hopped from tree to tree via magic. he could keep up, with his other wordly vision.
Tibbs, on the other hand, was unnerved. She jumped up and tensed when she heard him make noise from different locations. Then she put her fingers to her temples and concentrated. It was fake. Just a parlor trick. Illusion...with sound? Yes...thats all. Just a magic trick...i hope. She did not believe. With deft speed she strung two barb-ended arrows onto her bowstring. 3 years, in the wilderness, alone, had taught her some things. One was speed, and that's what she needed in this situation. Her piercing green/blue eyes locked on each tree in turn that shook, and then caught the top of his perch. She pretended she didnt see, and spun completely around, as if she had heard him to in another direction. Then, quite suddenly, she reached her arms over her back and shot both arrows. One went to his left, the other to his right, both very snug towards his ribcage. before the two could get to their target, another arrow flew toward him, straight at him. he could not move left, or right, but if he didnt, the third arrow would strike him. her eyes were cold, but all she could think was 'what does he want?'- ((yesss, girl power. i do hope kael has some ibuprofen...he'll need it ))
