-the elven woman entered the courtyard and looked around. Again she looked out of place, but didn't seemed bothered at the least. Her blue eyes gazed innocently around and she swept back a softly curled tendril of blonde hair looking finally at Djoser. Her lips curled slightly upwards in a smile, and she finally dismounts the Sikorski, the snow white Arabian she'd been riding. Taking the reins from the young servant boy and dropping them lightly, murmuring something into the stallions ear she walked to Djoser and bowed slightly. She finally removed the snowy white cloak, revealing tan riding breaches, tall polished black boots and a white blouse. Reaching to a pocket deep within the cloak she pulled out a piece of parchment, sealed with the royal seal of her kingdom. Handing it to Djoser she again bowed before speaking. She spoke the common tongue of elves. Knowing no Egyptian and not bothering to try the dialect that was her homelands. She was of an off-landish county far from the palace walls, and their dialect had evolved in many ways- "Greetings Pharoh..." -she pauses to bow- "Please excuse my attire..I've been riding for many days and its less comfortable to ride in a skirt. I bring news of my kingdom, Avalon..But that is only in passing, I offered to bring you this message and also hoped to answer a calling. Music which plays ever so softly just beyong my reach..Its grown stronger since I have arrived here..." -she said, her voice, unlike when she'd addressed the servant boy, was now silky. Even and uncommanding..She continued to meet the mans gaze equally-

[glow=red,2,300]He looked at her silently, approvingly. He smiled at her. "Ah, Avalon...No need to worry about languages with me. I have...ahem...many encounters with a certain person that travels between our lands. My song, you also have heard it? Yes, I play it every day. I see it works perfectly in its task. It is supposed to attract women worthy of being my queen. Then I can pick amongst them as they come to my palace. For a Pharaoh is nothing without a Queen to love and cherish." he said in her dialect perfectly. His eyes seemed to glow slightly. He had a strong presence in the courtyard, something, unique. "Now...your name. Tell me...So I may not seem rude by just pointing and saying 'You there, woman...' Yes, not a good thing to have happening." he said, sitting down. He motioned for Khafi and spoke to him in rapid Egyptian dialect. The boy seemed surprised. Djoser nodded. Khafi then bowed to the woman, then went towards the entrance. "Khafi...Jump the wall. I dont want the others knowing you went to go find him." Djoser said. Khafi turned and nodded, then went and climbed over the wall with ease and ran off into the city. "Excuse me for the interupttion. I forgot to send the boy to fetch a friend of mine for dinner. You will stay for a while at my palace wont you? Its best not to stay in a local tavern or inn. Not many encounter a woman of your magnitude and understand how to act...."[/glow]

-she looks at him, her eyes looking around the cavern. She'd been in Tobias' council only for a few weeks before she'd been asked to bring the letter. Looking impressed by his knowledge she finally nods- "I accept your offer..." -its obvious she's a bit curious about the way he ran Egypt, and of her surroundings, though she doesn't remove the snowy white cloak and there appears not to be any heat affecting her at all. Glancing to her horse she looks to Djoser- "Where will Sakorski be..I'll need to be able to tend to him..He's quite choosey...My name is Lana" -she seems about to say more but stops herself. He must already know of her past, he had afterall, called her there hadn't he? No..She wasn't ashamed of her small town heritage but she wasn't quite proud of it either. She scratches Sakorski's nose while awaiting to find where she would keep him...Mulling over the fact that she'd been called there as a potential queen. Wonderous that she might actually have a chance. While waiting for his answer she moves to Sakorski's side and removed the girth placing it ontop of the saddle and running the stirrup irons up. Trying to keep herself busy-

[glow=red,2,300]He smiled at her. "Beautiful name....Your horse shall stay in my own personal stables. They are around that corner of the palace." He pointed towards the western side where a young man servant stood. Djoser's eyes glowed upon her. "Call me Djoser instead of the formal Pharaoh. Now..." He stood slowly and walked towards the entrance to the palace. "Your room? Leave your precious horse to my servant over there."[/glow]

-she looks unsure of whether or not she really wanted to obey him. She didn't have any possesions other than Sakorski, and a mare that she'd left back in Avalon. And she was generally extremely protective of Sakorski, he'd been with her since he'd been weaned and he was usually choosey. Yet the song in her head was soothing, and lulling and she nodded softly, leading Sakorski over to the man she again whispered in his ear and then joined Djoser- "Okay..I'm ready"

-she followed, all the time looking around her and taking it in. Her cloak swishing around her feet, but her blue eyes looking amazed at her surroundings. Tobias' palace wasn't nearly as magnificent..at least the parts the peasants might see-

Djoser stopped down at the room nearest to his own across from the other lady's. "This can be your room. If you need anything at all I am in my own room within the golden doors. None of my servants know your dialect. It is rare that anyone comes from Avalon other than my friend. But he was born and raised here. But yes, anything at all." he said. He turned to Khafi who ran up to them with a cloaked young man. His eyes only glowed violet from the shadowy hood. He nodded to them both and they went off into the great hall.

-Lana nodded lightly to the man in return and then thanked Djoser before entering the room she walked to the bed and sat down, her cloak still on and just looked around. Sighing wearily she finally removed her cloak, her arms were scratched from hard riding through the woods of Avalon, and had yet to heal perfectly. She still didn't know exactly what had been following them, but Tobias had said to stay away from any trackers. So she had-
