The figure of a wolf stalked through the woods warily. The wolf’s pelt was as black as coal and her eyes were a dark navy blue color. She continued, completely new to this land and to this pack... She hadn’t even seen any wolves yet and a tad lost... With a light sigh, she glanced around looking for shelter. Suddenly her gaze floated to the entrance of a nearby cave. Slowly, she padded over to it and peeked in. All was silent inside the cave. She flicked her ears back, her eyes scanning the darkness of the cave. She sniffed lightly. She could smell another wolf but... Maybe they could help her, as she was new. Carefully walking in a few steps, she spoke, “Hello...?” No response except her echoing voice... [/size]

[glow=gray,2,300]-Darkness creeped in on the shewolf [who's name was ironically Darkness. Would ya look at that. Lmao] as her echo slowly died down. Soon, silence overcame the narrow tunnel. Yet, something, something was in the air. Magic and power. She was not alone. The caves were not empty. They never were. Never would be. A low whisper carried itself to the femme's ears with a low gust of wind. 'Go on...' It told her, just before the silence returned...-[/glow]

Darkness flicked her ears back as she heard the voice. Was she hearing things or...? She hesitated, but slowly crept into the dark and eerie cave. Her navy blue eyes and ears stayed alert. Her eyes scanned the cave again, searching for any sign of a creature; preferably a wolf. All she could hear was silence and the light thud of her paws on the stone floor of the cave.[/size]

[glow=gray,2,300]-The tunnel grew smaller and seemed to go deeper as the shewolf paced on, an uncanny silence and eerie darkness followed her. The air seemed to grow thicker and more humid, a light fog staring to drift into the cave even while it was unnaturally cold inside...-[/glow]

Darkness’ thick fur plus the humid air made it very uncomfortable for her. When the walls got smaller, she had second of thoughts about listening to the voice and going on any further. She wanted to turn around and get out of this maze, but she wasn’t sure if she could now that she’d gone in... Trudging on slowly, her eyes stayed on the path ahead of her. Maybe she could find her way out of this cave if she just kept going on forward...[/size]

[glow=gray,2,300]-Within minutes, the muggy air was overcome with a dense fog that would have made it impossible to see if it had not already bee pitch-black in the tunnel. The ground grew slightly icy as the temperature seemed to drop below freezing, yet the air remained overcome with humidity...-[/glow]

Darkness continued. What was going on? She was wishing she just kept on walking past this cave and didn’t have the urge to stop and rest. Well, it looked like she wouldn’t be resting anytime soon. This didn’t seem like the type of place to curl up and go to sleep in... The now icy ground was cold and hard against her soft paws as she continued on. And the humid air made it horribly uncomfortable. But she’d just have to keep going and hope for the best...[/size]

[glow=gray,2,300]-The thick fog finally reached its max and became steady and slow-moving; following the wolfess through the cold tunnel. The stone ground was now fully covered in ice; a glossy, glass-like layer of slippery carpet that, like the fog, had no intention of going away soon. Slowly but surely, the desent downward stopped, and soon the tunnel became steeper, as if it were leading upward a hillside...- [/glow]

Darkness slowed her pace. She had to with the ice covering the ground, now. As she followed the path ahead of her that seemed to grow steeper, she had to be careful as to not slide back down with all the ice. Plus, the fog was so thick now she could barely see what was in front of her. She kept her ears perked and alert for signs of anyone or anything that may have been in this cavern with her. As she continued, she dug her claws into the frozen ground slightly to keep herself from slipping.[/size]
