[glow=steelblue,3,300]-Wonder lay silently beside the magical floating fountain he’d created in the den earlier; his warm grey eyes slightly dazed as he watched the battle slowly progress in the central fire. He sighed. The cave was now silent, as the chaos had seized and many of the wolves had finally settled to get some rest.
He wasn’t sure how much time had past. A few hours? Half a day? More maybe. It was still bright outside, the sun high over the mountain peak. He could see it from the transparent walls he’d set up around the cave exits. It almost seemed like any other day. It wasn’t…-[/glow]
[glow=beige,3,300]-Honor paced warily around the old den; the feel of being a father still new to him. [Yes, the pups would technically be two or three weeks old, but since the hiatus in RP we’re still on the second battle, so we’ll just catch up to their normal ages once the war is over and b4 we start the final showdown…] His dusky chestnut eyes flickered to Rhia and the pups very few moments, and a smile fought its way to his maw. But the itch in his mind that a war was going on right under their noses, and they had no way of knowing what was going on, was all too apparent. He sighed, turned, and continued patrolling the cave. Walking was better then sitting still and letting the silence sink in…-[/glow]
[glow=gainsboro,3,300]-The grey and black beta son sat laziehly beside his younger siblings. Ever so often, his eyes would scan the 5 young ones, making sure they were all accounted for. He’d had a hell of a time trying to round them up before. Now, they were all sound asleep. He smiled.
Spirit shifted slightly, his blood flow having been slowed due to him sitting for hours upon end. He looked, his dark eyes wandering the cave trying to locate Tweak. He was glad he’d gotten her to stay here, instead of going out into the fight. He didn’t have it left in him to worry about yet another ‘family member...’-[/glow]
[glow=brown,3,300]~Sage yawned, fighting to keep her eyes open. She had been gloo’ed to the central fire, watching the images of the war project before her. Every detail, she had to remember it all. Every move, she had to imprint it in her brain. Every mistake, she had to learn from it. Her heart beat slowly and steadily in her mind, and she sighed, looking away from the fire only for a moment. A moment to look at her mother’s pack. To make sure everything was reasonably alrite. And so it seemed, so she returned to watching the outside world’s events. The ones that were far from alrite…~[/glow]
[glow=chocolate,4,300]~Grace yawned as she opened her eyes and looked to a sleeping Bri. He’d still yet to say a word, and her soul was aching at seeing his huddled form in the corner. Deletico had told her he’d have to go out into the war. She didn’t kno if he had or hadn’t. She was too broken to think much of it. She had simply nodded, understanding, and returned to bidding her young son to tell her he was alrite. And she was still waiting to hear it, although deep inside the truth had already dawned on her. She refused to believe…~[/glow]
(Short, simple, to the point. Those mega posts were really starting to bug me, y'kno? :-))
