[glow=gainsboro,3,300]-Spirit turned to a panicking Tweak as his senses tuned back in; but his gray eyes soon landed on his mother as she too plunged out of the den despite the protests of Pryde.
Mom. Not yew two.
The rich, grayish black wolf stood; his gaze wandering around the room as wolves piled out. He should go out there and help. Help his mother and father. Keep them from doing something stupid. Keep them from.…-
‘Adrian?’
-The young male found himself thinking out loud, as his eyes fell on the imagery cast from the fire and Frost’s words sank in. He was alive. After all this time, the boy Spirit had help guilt over was indeed walking and breathing. And, he was one of them. Suddenly, anger took over. The pup, now a young adult, had turned over to the dark side and was now marching into a head on battle with his grandparents and his mother’s pack.
No.
Spirit started towards the entrance, but something stopped him. His eyes wandered back to Tweak, and he found himself fighting inside. He couldn’t just leave. There were enough fighters going out. Some stronger wolves had to stay back here and guard the pups as well. They couldn’t leave the council unprotected. They couldn’t...
The pups! Spirit’s gaze flew to his young siblings and he was relieved to quickly count up all five. But then the events going on there sank in, and had this been another situation, he would have laughed at Chase’s attempts to guard the others from the old wolfess.
’We’re going to stay put. If everyone goes out the women and children will be left alone. And the SLers would have easy access to this cave. We can’t risk it…’ Spirit sent the calm telepathy to Tweak, bidding her to obey his orders and stay around as he walked over to the young beta pups; stepping over Chase in a brotherly manner and smiling at Amtul…-
‘Thank yew for watching them. I’ve got it covered now. There are others who might need yew…’
-He said politely, his eyes wandering to a harmfully injured Bri who’d been teleported back into the cave by Wonder, before looking down at Chase, who had now relaxed somewhat but still kept his growling up…-[/glow]
[glow=bisque,4,300]-Time seemed to stretch forever. The large male horse-man watched the images play out before them. He looked to his sisters as they parted, and knew it was time. Dhamon waited for the signal, and once it came, he started towards the entrance; his deep blue eyes landing on Ani and urging her to listen to Nadia and stay put. With that, the roan colored centaur took a hold of his swords handle and trotted out of the cave, only to turn into a full gallop down to mountain and into the oncoming forces...-[/glow]
[glow=white,3,300]~Melody felt the tears sting at her hazel eyes as her sister tried desperately to explain her actions.
’No need for words, Crystal. I understand…’
The overly white wolfess found herself unable to say it out loud, but she knew her twin would pick it up. It was the law of nature for them to ‘get it’ without speaking it. It was the way things worked.
Suddenly, just like that, her sister was gone. Mel found herself frozen for a moment; her eyes on the old wolfess who was guarding her sister’s children. Apparently, Crystal trusted this wolf with her kids, and so Mel did too. With nothing holding her back now, she turned and took off after her family, to fight the war she’d come to take part in…~[/glow][/sup]
[glow=gainsboro,4,300]-Force smiled warmly as Frost took him in. For a span of all 60 seconds, he felt young again, just by being there with his only daughter. He heard her whisper some words. Clarifying that her brother, the good brother, was gone. Force had heard it all. He didn’t even have to have heard to know. As a father, it can naturally.
And like that it was over. His tired eyes watched as shock and surprise danced upon the wolfess’ face, before she was charging out of the cave …-
‘Frost! No!’
-His voice barely broke through the booming of the other wolves, and his heart began racing. His daughter was now heading for the battle that had taken his son. And he would stop it nothing to prevent history to repeat itself. NightBlade had been vicious since he was born, and as far as Force saw it, he was not part of the family anymore. He didn’t deserve to be.
The faded dark grey wolf turned and walked towards the cave entrance; his glistening black eyes watching the events unfold first hand. Large feathery wings, once completely black while now patched with areas of gray, expanded at his sides. With a gentle glide, he started down the mountain finding flying easier then walking at his age. If he was going to go down, as his blood told him the time was coming, he’d best do it in battle while protecting his pack, his girl, his grand-children, and great-grand-children [and on and on]…-[/glow]
[Barely made 6 pages. I guess it's okay, seeing as I took out like 4 characters out of laziehness =) I would have had it up this morning, but mom took me shopping and yea. Money spending is a fun pass-time!]

[glow=orange,2,300] -=Tawaekeial's eyes widened as she recieved the mental note. She had never been spoken to via telepathy, and quite frankly she decided it was a bit too creepy. But she nodded silently as Spirit went to his siblings, and decided perhaps she should do the same. But something else had come with the mental note. A hint of surprise, perhaps? She wonderred what it had been about. Something told her it had to do with the conversation she and Spirit had at the Gold Sea, about that wolf-dog. Her usually wagging curled tail stopped. Could it be that the wolf-dog was alive? she dismissed the thought. Spirit had said they hadn't seen a trace of him since winter. Shrugging it off, she trotted around the cavern, no purpose in it at all, just to keep her mind occupied until Spirit returned. She felt uncomfortable around anyone else=-[/glow]
[glow=yellow,2,300] =Tas ((nickname)) watched his brother, seeing as Rya and Dawn were not. Why couldn't he be brave like that? Curiosity was his only asset. He narrowed his little puppy eyes--already beginning to fade from their blue and gain their golden flecks--and scamperred up behind his brother, growling also, in a low tenor= Yea! Wut Chais sayd! =his speech was fumbled, but still spoke what he felt=[/glow]
-Omen sat in a shaft of sunlight. He had heard the pup jump from the entranceway, heard Wonder retrieve him while his mother shrieked. He had heard the pups, had heard it all. But he saw none of it, right now his glass eyes saw only a red sea, skulls and bones littered the ground, carrion birds picking at the bones of both sides, though they could not be distinguished as good or evil. All dead things were the same to vultures, and all wolves were the same in death. Omen came out of his vision, lowerred his head to have his chin touch his chest ruff, and murmured a silent prayer to whatever higher force was up there.-

[this is magic in the making here... ^.^']
[glow=peru,7,300]-He hits the ground with a hard thud and he yelps out in pain, his nerves seem to have come back in full force and he hurts- everywhere. While recovering from the fall itself would have been annoying and time-consuming, once cleansed, the minor cuts would heal in due time and the process would have been very difficult. But now- he’s hit the ground after a hundred fifty foot drop, and his tiny seven-month-old bones aren’t strong enough to handle the impact.
As he whams down into the dirt, the impact letting a hollow ‘whomp’ sound out of the ground, he lets out a low moan/whimper, begging unconsciousness to come to him. But, to his frustration, it won’t. Why won’t it! He tries to will himself to black out. He even attempts to stop breathing for a short amount of time (15 seconds) but that only succeeded him in looking rather blue.
And after what seems like forever, though it is only a half a minute, he is teleported up to the middle of the mountain, inside their council cavern. He feels the warmth of the ever-glowing blue-tinted fire. He hears loud noises coming from every which way and the blurry image of his mother comes into his range of sight, her face full of wrinkles of worry.
He tries to emit a yelp of joy upon seeing his mother, a moan of pain upon feeling the blood ooze out of cuts in places of all sorts, anything. But to his frustration, he finds that he can’t speak. It just won’t come out. Tears flood his eyes in aggravation. Why can’t he talk! Why can’t he tell his mother how much his chest and neck hurt? Why can’t he repeat the story, bragging to his siblings? Why won’t anything come out?
As he attempts to stand, his legs start to wobble crazily and as he hobble towards his mother he greatly resembles the newborn deer which used to inhabit areas close by at around this time of the year.
He examines his body- his left leg hurt when he put weight on it, and his stomach hurts whenever he breathes. As he starts examining his paws, he sees thick blood pouring onto them from his chest. Looking confused, he looks closer to under his nose, and finds the blood wasn’t coming from his chest. And after all- it makes sense, it doesn’t hurt there. Try as he might, he can’t find the source of the bleeding. But as he starts to lower his head so that his nose touches his chest fur in order to lick some of it off, he lets out a yelp of pain. Something on his neck hurt like hell and he hadn’t felt it before! Startled, he instantly creates a puddle of water and looks into it, gasping at what he sees- but of course, no sound comes from his mouth.
His neck has been completely slashed open; the skin hangs limply from his raw muscles. His vocal cords had been split and twisted in every which way. He looks away and is instantly sick nearby his puddle. Feeling suddenly unable to move, he mentally moves the puddle over towards the area of his sickness, cleaning it up. He tries to move towards his mother, but feels he can’t. With that, he simply collapses upon the floor, tears falling from his eyes freely. [/glow]
[glow=seagreen,2,300]-She feels slightly sick to her stomach, and hears gasps of surprise and frantic calls coming from one portion of the room. With grace only a puppy could pull off, the lithe femme toddles over to the grathering crowd, wanting to see what had happened. After cleverly avoiding the jaws of Angel, she pokes her head, nudging her body through the few wolves surrounding whatever what happening near the fire. She finally sees clearly and looks surprised, yet completely uncomprehending.
Why was that wolf red? Why was his neck red, and why was he crying? She starts to toddle towards him in a puppyish manner, her tail wagging. She was always one to be there to confort. Of course, that was about things she understood, and the little puppy didn’t know what it was to die- what it was to bleed, or to break a limb. She had been sheltered from all these things for as long as possible, and rightly so, most pups were until they were about 4 monthes, as opposed to her 2.- [/glow]
[glow=navy,2,300]-Suddenly, she feels very anoyyed. She was tired of being treated like a child. Nadiah’s first hunt had been when she was 12, and she had participated in fights with other clans when she was 13. Well, she was Nadiah’s sister and she was just as trained, if only they’d let her prove it to them. But no, she was to stay here, out of harms way, out of excitement’s way. Well she’s not going to take it anymore.
With that in mind, she uses the injury of the pup as an excuse to slip out the door and make her way down the steep mountain. But the time she’s there, she just seems to realize that she’s without arrow and sword. Cursing her ignorance, she casts a spell upon herself, and sprouts hazel angel wings, each with a tip of velvet ivory. She takes to the air, going over the few amount of spells she had mastered in she short time in this world. She only knew basic element spells, but those were enough to do damage. She hovers in the air, behind a large clump of trees so as not to draw any attension to herself. She waits for the fist move to be made by the ever-growing army of darkness, or by their own meek force of light.- [/glow]

[glow=green,2,300] =Twig takes a time away from his diligent scribbling to turn and take down what goes on here. He drops all materials when he sees the injured pup. /oh my/...wolves were not his favorite of species, but it wasn't right for one of such youth to experience this...he slowly resumed his writing, but this time focused everything on the pup. he captured the suffering and placed it on the parchment. every wince and cringe=[/glow]
-Omen snapped as he saw the pup. He stood and ran over, already summoning up what power he had from absorbing Ku's remaining energy after she died. He neared the pup, and looked about. He bent his neck to look in the teary eyes- it hurts. i know. -as he was so near, he could feel the pain in his own neck...all pain reflects unto the good...he remembered- -he slowly places one paw gingerly onto the wound, knowing how much it stung the pup because he felt it too. He almost cried out, not realizing how much the pup was wounded. It would take all of his power to seal this up...he closed his bloo eyes, and his breathing became ragged. his tail went limp, and his back half collapsed, leaving him propped upon one paw, as the other was planted firmly on Bri's neck. There was a blue-white glow around his closed lids, and they shot open, the glow travelled to his foreleg and down his paw, through his claws and eventually into Bri's open wound. There were blue sparks jumping around, then they wisped in a small whirlwind, and the gashing wound pulled together, mending itself, leaving only a pinked scar along the neck. Omen's eyes returned dark blue, and he swayed. He had not only used Ku's power, but most of his own. He knew that Bri would be mute, he could not heal vocal cords as of now. He was not powerful enough. Now his one grounded leg collapsed, and he fell unconcious, one foreleg still draped over Bri. His breathing was rasping, he seemed so vulnerable now. He looked just as he did when he arrived at the pack meeting that one day...so long ago it seemed. Slowly his eyes began to see only shapes, then shades, then shadows...and finally...black.-

Rya quietly wiggles. She was confused as to why Amtul had stopped her from leaving the den, but her fear had subsided somewhat. Yes, Mom was gone. -But-... she was right out there, just outside that door. Before Rya can escape her siblings, Bri bolts past and straight out the door. Rya feels a small pang of emotion, almost jealousy and envy, but as she was a pure child it was neither of those negative emotions. It just felt... different. Odd. Freeing herself from her siblings, she starts walking towards the door. Before she'd even taken two steps, Wonder bounds over her and out the door. Sheesh... it seemed like everyone was leaving. Placing another white paw in front of her, she steps again. In that time, Wonder was suddenly back with Bri. The image scarred her; although she didn't understand the blood or the wounds, she saw the look in Bri's eyes and she understood. Fear. Pain. Suffering. Longing. Helplessness. Although she was unable to fully grasp what had happened, she knew this: Bri had gone out that door and returned in this state. She swallows. That could have been her. She looks away from the pain in Bri's eyes; but she couldn't stop Bri's mother's frantic calls from filtering through her ears. Her baby blue eyes which were just beginning to aquire brown flecks fall upon the entrance. This, however, she didn't understand. Bri had gone out and returned the way he was. Wonder had gone after him, and yet Wonder seemed fine. Was it the door? Her mother and father had gone through that door. Would they return like Bri, or like Wonder? Would they return at all? And Lunar & Pryde, the two wolves she felt had a certain importance about them, yet hadn't been aquainted to. Would they be alright? And the vixen; that odd looking foxlike creature... what about her? These thoughts scared Rya. These were thoughts that should have been beyond her grasp, and yet... she was the quiet observer who stayed with mother. Now, mother was gone... where was she to stay? Her eyes rest upon Amtul, then Spirit who seemed to have taken over. Admiring Chase & Tassle's bravery, she tries to smile but finds herself too scared and bewildered to do so. She looks back to the door, willing Earth to return and for everything to be alright. No matter how hard she stared at the light entrance, her mother didn't come. Rya had lost hope of going after Earth; the entrance was obviously much more dangerous than it appeared. Suddenly Dawn (?) had left her side and was making her way over to Bri. Clinging to the only sibling that had comforted her, Rya scampers to catch up to her, wary of anyone who so much as looked at her. With her wings down, her tail tucked, and a worried expression on her face, she walks shoulder to shoulder with Dawn, but just a nose behind Dawn. The situation between Omen and Bri confused her and made her uneasy. She takes a deep breath and looks to Bri again, seeing an irreversable sadness in his eyes. Her heart fell somewhat; she didn't know why he was in pain or what had caused it, but she understood he was hurting emotionally. She crouches down moreso, then scoots herself closer to him and curls up beside him. Now that mother was gone, she had chosen to cling to Dawn. At the point Dawn was that close to Bri... surely it wouldn't hurt Rya. However, Rya found a deeper meaning in her sudden closeness with Bri. He was older than her, yes... but he too was still a pup. She understood that he was filled with sorrow, which in turn filled her with sorrow. Looking to Dawn for support, she stays curled up next to Bri, ready to bolt if any threatening thing came her way; even the gaze of another wolf.
Mitul nods to Vision. =Good day, miss.= Before Bri bolts for the door, he climbs to his feet and looks to a sleeping Ra. He smiles. His heart was torn two ways, but he knew he wasn't the only one who felt that way. Ra needed him; but his pack needed him to fight. Ra was over a year old now; he glances at Wonder. Before he could say what he intended too, Wonder was off like a shot. Puzzled, Mitul slowly starts towards the door. Behind him, he hears a frantic mother, and he turns. In doing so, he spots Wonder, but this time with a battered and bloodied pup. He gasps and turns to look at the scene. Not realizing the fellow had fallen, Mitul lets a low growl escape him. So this was war... this was what they were fighting for; to protect the little ones. That was more than enough reason for Mitul; he now left the cave with a new feeling about him. Originally intending to fight to support the pack, he now makes this a personal thing. A pup was injured. He [Mitul] may not be the strongest White Fyre soldier out there, but he'd be d**n
ed if he didn't do his part. If the Shadow Landers made it to the den, all would be lost. The blue orb startles him at first, until he realizes its source; Pryde. He snorts as he makes his way down the slope, realizing he was at a definate disadvantage. He sighs and pauses, knowing there was a good chance he wouldn't come out of this day alive. He boldly continues onward... even if he didn't make it, -somebody- would. Be it Wonder, or Honor, or Pryde.... somebody would watch over Ra in his place. Reaching the bottom of the slope, he finds himself somewhat winded, but continues onward. Mitul was willing to give his life for the pups; he only wished he could do more.
RainDance stretches onto her side somewhat in her sleep, her visible ribs rising and falling in slow steady breaths. One of her front feet twitches slightly as she dreams of running through a grassy meadow, barking at pheasants as they flew up into the air. Accompanying her was a strong white wolf; a wolf once loved, but now lost. The dream itself was a calm tranquility not to be reached from existing in the concious world; and it would remain just that.... a dream.
Snatching the golden orb in his mouth before Ivory picks him up, SilverFish wags his tail as he is carried away from Dawn. Sleep hit him as it does all young things; his eyelids droop as soon as Ivory sets him down. With the ball still in his mouth, he circles seven times to keep the serpents away, then lies down, flopping onto his side as his mother did. He hadn't even bothered to curl up next to her. As sleep consumes him, he gently hangs on to the ball like a human child would a teddy bear, then lets it go and rolls onto his back, his silvery wings sprawled out on the floor. Like all puppies do, he twitches in his sleep on occasion. Muffled whimpers escape him as he dreams of splashing through a shallow stream, barking at the various tiny fishes as they swim away from him. Even the youngster's tail twitches from the excitement of the dream.
Rhia's now heavy panting is interrupted on occassion as she clenches her jaw and fights the labor. This was definately not her idea of a good day... as they once again move, she finds herself in an unfamiliar den. She nuzzles Honor before he steps away; well, at least she wasn't in the middle of millions of prying eyes. She doesn't have much time to survey her surroundings; like an injection that you don't feel until the needle has been removed from your arm, she glances towards her tail base and is surprised to find a small, dark, wet, wingless pup. Stunned for a moment in awe of "woah, that was part of me just a second ago..." she carefully picks the tiny figure up and licks him clean. Before long, an utterly exhausted Rhia finds her first pup accompanied by an even darkers second, then a much lighter third. Cleaning them all, she flops onto her side and pants, feeling completely drained of her energy. She closes her eyes momentarily; although she was extremely tired, she finds that in retrospect, the pain hadn't even been -that- bad... even if it did hurt like hell. She tends to her three newborns again, expecting a forth. However, no such fourth puppy comes. Once all three pups were dry and Rhia was convinced they were 110% clean, she calls Honor over. =Honor, come see...=

[glow=steelblue,3,300]-Wonder stood back as the terrified mother came over to her child. He was relieved that she did not ask any questions, for the answers he had to give were few. Watching the distant pack alpha, Omen, heal the young one, Wonder relaxed. Hopefully things were going to be alright…-
‘I just saw him running past the ledge and right over the side. I don’t think he knew we were this high up…’
-The gray male offered what little information he had to Grace and the gathered wolves, seeing that they had caused a big scene. His attention turned from the mother and son to the one who’d healed Bri, and was now on the ground, unconscious. Wonder took the two or three steps needed to break the distance between himself and the elderly wolf; his head reaching down until he touched Omen on the shoulder, ever so lightly. With a simple utter of a word, a blue light flickered between the two wolves, and disappeared just as fast.
Wonder stepped away, giving the wolf some distance. He’d done a simple energy spell, one that most WF wolves had the power to do, in which he’d given Omen a healing boast. Enough to bring the wolf from the borderline of blacking out. And with his job here done, Wonder stepped away, giving the family their privacy. He took the chance to survey the cave.
It was reasonably empty now. Most had gone off to fight. Wonder turned to look at the now deserted ledge. Ebony had gone as well then. And Pryde’s force field bubble was visible just outside. Wonder’s tail twitched, as did his ears. He should go out as well. Help the fight. Since he’d not battled in the first war.
Then again.
Most of the adults, the alphas and the betas, were already outside, leaving many of the young generation to guard the pups. He’d be more useful here then outside in the mass confusion. He had to think logically.
Walking back over to the ledge, he let his grey eyes swirl with blue and yellow. Magic flowed through his body, as he prepared to intruder-proof the cave. They couldn’t let the SLer take over. Not this far up. This was all they had now.
With a blink, his eyes were dominated by blue, with random yellow flecks magnifying the rising sun light. Another word was spoken, and the ledge exit was covered by a transparent wall, much like Pryde’s outside bubble. Again, Wonder turned, this time facing the main cave entrance. With his head lowered, he cast another barrier onto that area. The same transparent, blue-tinted wall went up. A wall that would only allow Wonder through, yet any of the others could teleport past. Except the young pups that is. No more accidents would be welcomed. And none of the Shadowlanders would be able to get in. He would see to it.
With that said and done, Wonder moved over to the central fire. The images of the war were still going on. As of now, no fight was present. The White Fyre wolves were aligning behind the vortex, and the SLers were charging from the outside. Soon, it would break, and the battle would start.
Wonder turned to Myth and smiled. No words were needed. All that could be said was said with one look. They both missed Isis. They both wished things were back to normal. They were both happy for Honor and his new family. And they both had to move on. With a nod, Wonder dismissed the femme, allowing her to go off into the war and watch over Ebony for him. He knew Myth was an outdoorsy girl. She loved the excitement. And even though strength wasn’t her deal, brains were. She was smart. She’d be alrite.
With another pending action done, Wonder sat down. His eyes swirled again, this time turning a watery shade of blue, much like his son’s. The ground around him shook ever so lightly as a single beam of water erupted beside the wolf. It rose into the air, all the way to the top of the cave, before coming back down. Upon reaching the ground, the water spread around the central beam, soon creating a circular pond with a fountain-like effect. The water didn’t for any further, no spread any wider, it seemed frozen in place even though it was not. The Water Keeper smiled, his eyes returning to gray. He’d created a necessary life support for the pack and an amusing distraction for the youngsters. Now, he just sat and watched the war progress. Sat and waited…-[/glow]
[glow=sienna,4,300]~Myth watched her older cousin work his magics. She couldn’t help but smile. Even in the mists of war, at least she wasn’t alone. None of them were alone. They were more then a pack, they were family. And that’s why they would win. No matter how powerful the SLers were, they weren’t close. And that was their weakness. It was so plain to see.
The rusty brown, bronze tinted femme stood from her spot by the fire; the images in it were playing out in her head as well. She needed not stick around here to know what was happening. This was her moment to go out and see it first hand. As she walked towards the ledge what Wonder had already sealed off, she stopped. Her senses told her something she misinterpreted at first. As her dark blue eyes fell upon the healing Bri, she knew what had happened. The feeling of new life was in the air. She was an aunt now.
Myth couldn’t resist another smile. Her brother was all grown up now. He had his own family. Even though as youngsters they were inseparable, and lately they had hardly seen each other, the twin connection had never failed. She could feel it. ’Congratulations yew two. May yewr children grow up to be as wonderful as yew both are. Hopefully, this war will be over by the time they venture out into the world, so we may show them the true beauty of White Fyre…’ She sent the telepathy to Rhia and Honor, up in the den above this cave, knowing that she didn’t have the time to visit them at the moment. She had her duties.
As the sun hit her head on, her coat glowed with a magnificent dark gold. With a new assurance that things would work out, and the birth of her brother’s children to give her strength, Myth teleported herself to the other side of the magical wall, and looked down the ledge towards the gathered forces. Spreading her golden brown, faded black, wings, she let herself glide downward. It was past sunrise now. It was almost time to fight…~[/glow]
[glow=brown,3,300]~The young muddy brown alpha daughter sat back and watched her parents lead the pack out into the war. This was getting to be more painful each time. She had to go out and help. She couldn’t stay back again. The pack needed any and all who could, to do so.
So why wasn’t she moving?
Her eyes, the usual honey gold in the center and darkened to a bronze around the perimeter, did a sweep of the area. She had to stay back. Her whole family had gone. All the ‘alphas’ of the pack. If something happened, she should be up here. It was duty. But it was hard.
Sage sighed, and retook her seat by the fire, her ears perked and awaiting the sounds of the battle to begin as she watched through the flames…~[/glow]

[And ta-da! Part two. Just around 5 pages in all -shrug- Wait til I post at the war. That's gonna be a biggie...]
[glow=beige,3,300]-Honor wasn’t sure how to react to the voice in his head. It had caught him deep in his thoughts and he’d almost barked up a storm before realizing it was just his sister. And she was congratulating them. It didn’t make sense. Not until…
The silence of the den was interrupted by Rhia. Come see? See what? What was going on?
The crackling of the fire set in again, and Honor found his nerves. With a deep inhale, he circled the central flame and made his way towards the large furred bedding where his mate lay. From this angle, he could not see anything. Before he could open his mouth to speak, it hit him. The smell of puppies in the air. The low grunts and whines. The warmth and comfort of new family additions. The feeling of being a father. It was all it took…-
‘Are… yew? Are they? Are… yew guys alrite?’
-The hazel brown wolf finally managed to ask, coming up beside Rhia and bending his head to nuzzle her before casting his eyes on the young beings…-
‘So this is what it feels like?’
-He found himself thinking out loud; his warm dusky chestnut eyes drifting to Rhia as he smiled…-
‘They’re gorgeous. Just like their mother. I’m very proud of yew, Rhia…’
-Honor found himself on the floor beside his new family just like that, his eyes protectively looming over the young wolves and Rhia. Now, as the father, his job of protecting the family was more important then ever…- [/glow]
[glow=chocolate,4,300]~Grace rose to her feet; her eyes locking on the stranger who’d healed her son. Sure, she could have healed him as well, but in her moment of panic that had completely left her mind. And she had nowhere near the power needed for the intense spell Omen had done…~
‘Thank yew, Sir. I just left him out of my sight for a second…’
~She turned to look at Wonder, and nodded as he left, taking him for his help as well. With that she looked back down at Bri, and the crowd around him. Something was definitely wrong with the boy. He must have been tired. And in pain. But why wasn’t he saying anything? Why wasn’t he calling for her? Why wasn’t he making an effort to speak?~
‘Bri?’
~The brown and black femme asked, almost fearfully, fully expecting anything of an answer…~[/glow]
[glow=chocolate,3,300]~The big-boned creamy rust brown femme paced through the shadows. The cave was now reasonably empty, and it called for exploring. Vision couldn’t locate her mother nor father, and her siblings were most likely sleeping. With the story she’d just heard from Mitul, she was up for adventure.
Disappointed to see Wonder sealing the exits, she improvised. Taking to the shadows, her large, intelligent-looking eyes kept alert for any means of escape. A steel-grey in the dark, in truth they were silver like her mother’s. Now, they were a simple dusty gray. She needed excitement.
There. She found what she was looking for. A tunnel. Small enuff for her to squeeze by. And one sniff told her that there was an end point leading out. With a look back to make sure no one had seen her, Vision disappeared into the tunnel; bound for the outside world in a less painful way then her brother…~[/glow]
[glow=burlywood,4,300]-Chase let his growling subside as his big brother came to the rescue. With a satisfied snort, he turned to Tassle, who was giving him backup…-
‘Good job, Tas!’
-He nodded in approval then turned to locate his other siblings. Willow was sleeping it all off, but Dawn and Rya were nowhere to be seen. Chase would have none of this.
Looking up to Spirit, he took the chance to ditch. With a skip and a hop, he easily followed his nose to Dawn’s side. He’d missed most of the action, but the smell of blood was still apparent in the air. With his blue-tinted eyes on Bri, he broke the silence with a question…-
‘What’s going on, Dawn?’[/glow]

[glow=peru,7,300]-He looks to his mother, pure astonishment upon his face. Didn’t she see his neck? But no, of course not- Omen had healed it up, now there was only a thin scar, which would be recovered with hair in due time. Now he looked fine. But the memory of that first look at himself… he shudders. The image of his neck would stay, planted in his memory forever.-
-His steely gray eyes are fixated upon his mother, pleading with her. She was mom- the protector. The one who always made things right. Surely she could make this right. She would just nod and he would be able to talk again, and they’d never have to think about this whole ordeal again.-
-But, luck was not coming so easily to the youngster, and all that could be made out from his eyes clearly is the feeling of pain, and confusement. He opens his mouth and tries to emit a low whine, but, alas, nothing comes out. Of course- he could have guessed that.-
-He finally starts to back away from them all- from Earth’s litter who were getting closer and closer with ever second, every step. Away from Omen- the one who had healed him with all his energy, away from his mother, his life giver. Away from the crowd of wolves gathering. He turns, and pivots a complete 180 degrees, scampering off to a corner, tail tucked low, ears hanging lifelessly at the side of his beige head.-
-He doesn’t understand why he can’t talk anymore, of course. Being such a pup he doesn’t know that his vocal cords had been shattered. Destroyed beyond repair. He doesn’t know that he would never talk again. He doesn’t know he would have to rely upon body language and magic to get him through life. He doesn’t realize this is the turning point. This is what changes him. This is what signifies the end of the blissful puppy hood. The idyllic child life. And now, he was an adult, having felt things some adults in the pack would never. Though he was months from becoming an adult physically. Now he was a mental adult. He wouldn’t look at life the same way as his siblings. He would not find joy in the same rough housing. No. It’s all fun and games. And then something awful like this happens- and it’s just not worth it, he decides. Not worth it at all.-
-With that, he curls up, his thick, naturally long, silky cream fur insolating him automatically from the child that sets upon him once he’s away from the fire. He lets out a sigh and covers his nose with his tail as he had often seen his parents do. Of course, he hadn’t known what it meant; he just knew they did it. But now he does. Now so many things make sense. So many, and yet so little at the same time. He feels torn between two worlds.- [/glow]
[glow=seagreen,2,300]-She cocks her head at the retreating Bri, making a quizzical expression with her face.-
Couldn’t tell ya if I wanted to, Chase. Just heard a racket an’ cameded over… it smells weird. Really weird. Like the ol’ den used to.
-She says, looking to Chase for backup, anything to an affirmative nod to let her know she’s not loosing her mind. And as the pup retreats, she decides against following it. She didn’t want to make the journey across the cold, stone floor, not here, next to the warm fire with her brothers and sister. But she doesn’t want to go back to that wolf.
She was suffocating- that’s what she was. Not letting them move. It wasn’t comforting, inhaling the scent of one they had never known before. It wasn’t comforting at all. In fact the only thing which could remotely comfort her now was to simply curl up next to the ever glowing fire with Chase, Tassle, Rya, and Willow. Curl up and pretend to sleep, sharing secrets in hushed whispers. With that, she nudges Chase, a loving nudge, and walks up to the very rim of the fire.
She had seen what happens to those who went out of the cave and she wished to have none of it. She would wait here until her mother returned.- [/glow]
[shadow=maroon,left,300]-He stops wailing for a second, letting the sound of the battlefield come to the silent den. For a split second. He begins to cry out again, in a puppyish whine. The cry for his mother. He would not be satisfied until she returned.-[/shadow]
[glow=goldenrod,2,300]-She finally pears up, having been in her own deep sleep. She instantly jumps up, annoyed that nobody had informed her of the battle starting. She instantly gets out of her sleeping stance- a curled ball- like a cat, with her wings unfurled, covering her whole body- and stretches.
Obviously satisfied with the cracking of her back, legs, and then finally, neck, she takes to the battlefield, leaving a small beige and white colored fluffy bundle behind her. She teleports out, landing behind a large group of centaurs. She would wait. Wait until her prey got close enough. And then.
She would pounce.- [/glow]
[glow=white,2,300]-He seems rather irritated that his mother left him; warmth immediately departs from his small body. He lets out one solid cry before getting up, shaking his whole body in order to puff out his downy white and beige coat, and stretches in a manner similar to his mother. He stares around the cave with his flecked silver, pale winter blue eyes.
Nothing interesting was going on. Wolves were in huddles discussions in corners, puppies were cuddled up to their littermates, mothers, or both, sleeping soundly, or whispering in undertones, thinking themselves to be so clever and unheard.
With that, he starts to bound around the room, prancing and flying a good foot in the air with every step, his white wings fluttering as he walks. He finally bumps into something. And is immediately returned with a squirt of water. He ruffles his feathers and immediately puts on his most unhappy face, growling the low play growl of that of a kitten.-
[eheh. He ran into Phish. Behold, the power of phish. I love the phishes cuz they’re so delicious! GOT GOLDFISHES...]

((mwhaha, no colours. i'm ecstatic over some cookies, so i'd get them all mixed up))
=Tassle puffed his chest out proudly, then turned to watch his brother skip off. He saw a pair of large paws when he turned, and followed them up to see his big brother's face. He put on a cheery smile=
-Omen lifted his head a mite as Wonder gave him the spark to keep him going. His paw was still draped over Bri, until he moved. Slowly he stood up, his cramped body sore. His glass eyes glimmered a "You're welcome" to the mother, and he went back to where he had been sitting in the first place, but suddenly something caught him. A vision. Of the future? no...from the past. It was an image of a she-wolf. she was having a conversation with another younger female. While the younger female was talking, this strange wolf only made eye movements. Then the image broke, and Omen turned to see Bri huddled in the corner. Later on he should speak to the wolfling about this she-wolf. Perhaps he could begin to communicate as she did.- ((and yiew all kno what she-wolf i'm talking about. Sip))

[glow=lightblue,2,300] -Having been in a deep sleep it takes him a moment to wake up..and then porcess exactly what was happening. The smell in the air..was a mixture of what he'd smelt by the lake..and his brother. He whimpered..he didn't like that, that this red bloody pool of the floor was part of his brother. Seeing Bri in the shadows his eyes reach out him, but he'd never understand. Nanook still had growing up to do, alot of it. No hardships had hit him yet. He'd lived the good-lyfe every parent wishes for their children. Where they explore safely, grow up beside their littermates and don't expierence the hardships adult lyfe would bring until they were ready for them. However, he'd witnessed alot. It would scar him, of course it would. But he would not realize until later what it was that he had witnessed. What exactly it was that had made the beach red. The water that had turned a milky-pink color. The redness diluted for the tyme being. Where his father would run off too any minute after this. That would take him months..Possibly a year or two to finally process what exactly it was that he'd witnessed-[/glow]
[glow=lightgreen,2,300] -As soon as she places Phish down, and made sure that he was alright she goes to inspect the commotion by the shadowy side of the cavern. Her eyes pick up the puddle of blood, and widen. She gasps, watches Bri retreat the shadows. Her heart goes out to Grace..To Deletico. How hard it must be for the two of them to watch their son go through this. She wished she possessed the magick to heal the young pup..Somehow sensing what was wrong. She didn't know how she knew, but somehow it just popped into her head. What was wrong with him- -Maybe it had something to do with the band her mother had left in the den. That night that she'd died..Disappeared from their lives. Ivory too had entered the adult world maybe just a little too early. She'd watched her mother leave, the femme she'd been closest too just up and leave them. Anger. Hurt. Confusion. Disappointment. She'd known them all too well in the month or two after her mother had left them. She'd felt them again, when she realized that her mother had pups growing within her. When she realized that she would have younger siblings...Related by half of a blood-line. Then realizing that they would never know. Know that their blood was that of the great WhiteFyre, that the magick that ran through their veins was partly identical to that which ran through her own. That they would have two older half-siblings..Who would never be able to bond with them. No, She knew..Maili would not allow her new pups to know of their half-siblings. Who they would really be related to. She would return with them, when they were old enough. That Ivory was sure of, but she knew that nothing would be revealed. Maili woul live out her lyfe in some secluded den. Relishing in her revenge to get back at Wonder..Little did she know that it would hurt her two children as well..Ivory didn't yet know of the intense jealously that would hit her upon the return of her mother- [/glow]
[glow=goldenrod,2,300] -he looked at his mate..Seeing the deep hurt and disappointment that registered in her eyes when their son didn't speak, but just withdrew into the shadows. When he just stood and walked off. Not answering his mother. He stood...Trying to comfort his mate, and at the same tyme preapring to leave her to fight alongside his cousin..- "Grace..I have to go out there..." -he said softly...-[/glow]
