[Alrite. I went off and corrected Namo for her major age mistake when it came to Frost and Static, and seeing as I keep a detailed account of all the wolf litter ages, here’s a run-down to keep yew guys on track. I’ve only included some litters that I’ve been connected to, but figuring out most of the other ages is pretty easy. Any deeper questions, gimme a buzz:
Honor and Myth are just over 2 years old Misty's pups are 2 years old CrystalMoon's are 1 year, 11 months [MF’s and Earth’s 1st litter are a tad younger] Lunar's are a bit over 1 year, 8 months old Frost’s are 1 year, 2 months old Isis' are 1 year, 1 month old Grace’s are 7 months and Blizzard’s are 6 month old Earth’s second litter is 1 month old and Keskoo’s are just a bit younger
And yes. It’s accurate. Cuz I have an obsessive addiction =) So most of yewr wolves are a lot younger then yew think. We’re aging faster then real time, but not by much. Wonder, Lunar, Pryde, and all the adults are in their 4’s and 5’s. And that’s about it. So yes. Moving on…]
[glow=steelblue,3,300]-The large, light-grey wolf had been frozen in time. His long, somewhat shaggy coat, was being gentle ruffled by the breeze coming from the open ledge they were settled by. His silvery grey wings folded neatly at his sides waiting to be needed; the falcon-like feathers moving with the gusts. His dark grey eyes, friendly yet full of pain and sorrow, where gleaming with orange; a glow cast by the far off dawn that was pending to brighten the lake.
Wonder stared, not because he awaited the sunrise with warmth, but because he dreaded it. The light would run over the area, revealing the death and destruction that the night had so beautifully covered. And with the rise of new day, a new fight would also come. And would they be ready? Could they ever be ready?
Sometime after the talk with his daughter, but before the arrival of his son, Wonder had settled to the ground for fear that his legs could not keep him up any longer. He felt better now, with what was left of his true family around him. But thoughts of Isis still bore into his conscience. And the captivating sight of dawn had been the only thing to keep him in his thoughts.
Until.
Something hit him. Not hard. Not at all. A small body. Warm and furry. A pup. His fraternal instincts told him that much. His heart skipped a beat as he too, like his daughter, traveled back in time. He wondered briefly if he’d strayed too far in his mind and dozed off.
No. There were voices. Ivory was talking. Introducing herself. Then his own name came. Then Ebony’s. Nova had been by his side at one point, but the grey male had been too deep in his head to greet his younger friend. Now, his attention returned and he turned his head to come face to face to a young pup. In the crowded cave, it shouldn’t have come as a surprise, but somehow, it did. And Wonder found himself staring, making sure it wasn’t all in his head.
His tail gave off a friendly wag as he rose to his feet; sitting up between his two grown children and now coming against an unknown femme. Her scent told him she was the mother of the youngster who’d ran into him earlier. He offered her a warm smile, nodding in approval of Ivory’s talk even though he’d missed half of it. His eyes seemed to glow for a moment; drifting from RainDance to her son…-
‘Wonder…’
-He clarifies again, breaking the silence that was setting in. This was a new wolfess. No doubt she’d come the very same day. And with no protective male around her, she was most likely a single parent. Just as he was now…-
‘And yes, these two are mine. Can we be of any service?’<br> -He smiled again, noting the femme’s dead-tired look before nodding to Ivory, and then Ebony, knowing that they would not refuse to look after the young pup for a while…-[/glow]
[glow=lightsteelblue,3,300]-Ebony had sat in silence by his pained father and sister; knowing what had been discussed while he was ‘in the war zone’ helping GW. He knew it was talk about his mother-turned-vampire, without even having to ask. The details, he may have missed, but something big was up, and he’d learn soon enough. For now, this, being alone with his family, safe and out of danger for the time; it was nice.
His watery-blue eyes carefully followed the young pup the moment it had run into Wonder. Then, he’d watched the panicked mother try and excuse the boy’s behavior with slight amusement, only to turn to concerned once Ivory had taken off after the stranger. His alertness relaxed as his sister returned, and with company at that. Black tail wagging playfully, his gaze wandered to a close-by GW. ’Hey. Come’re. Yew’re missing the fun!’ He sent the golden wolfess a silent telepathy as his thoughts refocused on the strangers upon hearing his sister introduce him…-
‘Yup. I’m the twin brother. Pleasure to meet ya!’<br> -The solid black wolf responded, his hyper and devious nature showing for a moment before he gathered himself, knowing this to not be the time for major playing around. His eyes traveled down to the snowy white marking on his ryte paw; a small snowflake with a water drop beneath it. The only trace of white on his whole body; and the same identical mark being the only trace of black on his sisters. It was a true sign of their twin-hood. An unmistakable one at that. And he carried it with pride…-
‘And who’s this guy?’<br> -The young adult asked with a genuine interest as he bent down to sniff SilverFish, his eyes gleaming with friendliness. He gave the boy’s mother a slight nod, telling her that it was alrite to let the boy go and allow him some fun. This was a friendly pack, and everyone loved youngsters…-[/glow]
[glow=beige,3,300]-Honor’s loving gaze watches over his mate as she settles to the ground, and the rich hazel brown wolf wastes little time in scooting down by her. Not wanting to disturb Rhia’s momentary peace, he lets his backside slide until he is laying down parallel to the femme’s back, instead of having moved his paws forward for the fact that Rhia’s head was resting on them. Now settled, he placed his head gently on the female’s neck; not leaning down on her but simple levitating protectively.
His dusky chestnut eyes did a quick sweep of the area before closing. Then, he felt Rhia jerk, and he too snapped back to reality…-
‘Something the matter, love?’<br> -His soothing voice whispered to her as their eyes locked, and he needed not words to understand. Suddenly, he became all too aware of the public spot they had taken to. Although everyone was settled in, ready to sleep, they were practically in the center of it all. And the expecting mother-to-be was probably nervous. Honor scowled himself for not finding a safer place for them earlier; his gaze wandering the cave before halting on a particular patch of shadows by one of the branching out tunnels.
He closed his eyes for another second, and when he reopened them, they flashed. With no warning, the two wolves faded off into the air, only to re-materialize in a more secluded den-like carven blocked from the view of most of the pack by a large boulder. The central fire’s glow danced off the wall behind them, and they could clearly see the outside air from the entrance a few feet off. But they were basically alone. And it felt better.
Honor looked to the wolfess beside him; their positions not shifted by the spell. With a loving nuzzle, he declared his apology for not thinking of this sooner, then lifted his head again to keep watch. The glow of the fire was soon joined by that of the rising sun…-[/glow]
[glow=sienna,4,300]~Myth sighed. Her attention was on Lunar and Frost as they discussed the death of Static. The death that she had witnessed firsthand without even being there. The death, that was just the beginning.
Thoughts suddenly wandered to Isis again. Myth tried to pull this information out of her head. But she was torn up inside. Her best childhood friend, Ruby, was the one responsible for turning the wolfess who’d become a mother to her. And while it was now too late for both of them, there may have been a way to stop this. If only she’d known earlier. Somehow.
Wait. Something was wrong. Very wrong.
Myth’s dark navy eyes grew distant; her breathing slowing and becoming even. In her mind, she saw through the eyes of the sun. As the earth below was touched with the beam of light, a picture flew into her head. And she watched, as an army led by the SL beta Blizzard advanced towards the lake; to finish what was started, or at least bring it closer to the end. But that was far from now…~
‘It’s started…’
~Myth muttered to herself; her eyes opening, dark blue no more. Instead, they glowed of silver, and the simple two words that she had said traveled out into the minds of any who wished to hear them. And with a deadly glare towards the central fire, Myth uttered a spell, and the golden flames expanded as the fire levitated off the ground; changing shades from a yellow orange to a ruby red to a auburn purple, and finally becoming early morning sky blue, as visions from her head reflected themselves in the flames, and the pack was left to watch the second battle as it occurred…~[/glow]

[glow=silver,3,300]-Cepheus kept his head up, proudly watching over his family. He’d just settled down after going out to help Earth retrieve the curious youngsters, and he was ready to lie around and keep guard while his family slept.
Or not.
His silvery grey eyes shot upward as the simple words hit him head on. Phase two of the Shadowlanders war plan had begun. That left them little time to really troops and meet the offenders down at the lake before they had come further. And the further they came, the harder it would be to stop them.
What if they made it up here?
The dark brown and black wolf felt the line of fur along his back rise. Just the thought of trespassers getting up this far and getting to his family was enough to tick him off. He was on his feet and trotting toward the ledge in seconds, passing only by Lunar briefly to give her a heads-up…-
‘I’m going out to keep them back. If they cross the lake borders and start up this way, we’ll never be able to hold them all back. We can’t risk any of the young ones…’
-He felt that to be enough information, and before his actions could be approved or denied, he walked on. ’Make sure Earth doesn’t follow. No matter what…’ That last, unspoken part, was sent to Pryde and Pryde alone. Cepheus knew that the alpha male would not let his sister out even if he hadn’t been told not to, but the fact that he said it made him relax. Just a bit.
As he walked past Wonder and the ones around him, the beta male halted and looked back into the cave. For a moment, his eyes came in contact with Earth, who’d seemingly just understood what was going on. ’I have to do this.’ His eyes said it all. Spreading his large, silvery shaded wings, Cepheus dove off the ledge to meet the attackers head on…- -[/glow]
[glow=gainsboro,3,300]-Spirit shifted around as events unfolded; his gray, almost black, eyes quickly returning to Tweak…-
‘I took a back way in. Needed to scout all possible entrances. Just to make sure there’s no unknown way in. It would prove to be a weakness…’
-The large grayish wolf responded to the femme’s question of his previous whereabouts; his gaze now focusing on the fire, almost memorized by its brilliant glow.
When suddenly, ’it’s started.’ Spirit’s head turned around the room trying to locate the source of the voice or to even make sense of what it had meant. What had started? The war? Yes. They already knew that. Everyone knew.
A wave of heat drove him to his feet; the fire before him suddenly turning water-blue, before filling with images of unknown wolves. Dark wolves. Closing in on the already blood-covered lake grounds. As the sun rose in the background.
So it had started. The second wave. Spirit found himself seated again; almost in a trance by fire. Each picture was reflected in his eyes, and his heart skipped a beat or two. The war was going on. And…-
‘Dad!’<br> -The young male had surprised himself with the sound of his voice; for his eyes had landing on Cepheus running out of the ledge and flying towards the battlefield. What was he thinking? No way had he just left them all there! Spirit had to do something. He had to follow. He had to help. He might have been needed.
No. Stay put. Wait for order. Don’t move.
His mind, and body, won. And he stood still. Not knowing what to do, he looked from Tweak, to his aunt Lunar, and then to his mother. The look in his eyes was lost…-[/glow]
[glow=gray,3,300]-Amaroq smiled at the new wolfess, bowing his head in greeting…-
‘I am sorry yew could not have joined us in better days, Shade…’
-He commented simply, his dark eyes focusing on Destiny as he nuzzled her lovingly. Slowly, the thoughts of resting entered his head, but were soon taken away by the sudden announcement that it was continuing. The attack they had been anticipating had come while they were off guard. Or at least, while he was.
No.
It couldn’t be. Not now. Not when he was finally happy for a few moments. Not when everyone was settled down and ready for some hard earned rest. Not when they were still healing.
As the fire before them transformed into a large, glowing ball of images, Amaroq looked to his sister for a second. Then, scooting ever so closely to his mate, he watched the ShadowLand forces proceed towards the lake and awaited the orders what were sure to come…- [/glow]
[glow=white,3,300]-The long-coated white wolf as struck speechless. His dark, icy blue eyes looking over the form of his sister, standing there right before him. He was caught off guard. He thought she’d left for good. He hadn’t expected to see her, but was more then pleased that he had been given the chance.…-
‘My god, Silver. It’s really yew?’<br> -Winter asked, quite stupidly. Of course it was her. He just needed to hear his voice out loud. To snap him back to reality. Just as the news of the second attack came, and he was forced to look into the fire…-
‘Yew couldn’t have returned at a better time…’
-His voice, now ghostly, broke a moment of silence, as his eyes took in what the fire told them. The discussion with his sister was cut short. They didn’t even have time for a proper reunion. Time was against them…-[/glow]

[glow=lightblue,3,300]~Specter couldn’t help but smile at her brother. He was the same old Nova under it all. ’Good to see yew too, brother.’ Was the extent of her reply, for as fast as he’d come, he’d left. The fire dancing from her very fur seemed to change with the central one. It must have been a general fire spell that had shifted the elements. Specter grinned again. Finally. Some action. And as soon as she heard the words, confirming that it was war all over again, the misty-grey femme was on her feet and out the entrance; her powerful form moving down the mountain to towards the battle forces. Where she belonged…~[/glow]
[glow=brown,3,300]~Sage felt her heart sink as the words of the second attack spread. She looked to her brother, who was still beside her though talking with Nova. Their attention was still on the strange fox creature that had entered their cave. And she, her focus shifted to her parents, and no sooner had she uttered the word then she was by their side; her golden eyes moving from the new-flashing fire to the alphas…~
‘Are we even ready for an attack? So soon?’<br> ~She asked Lunar, not having much else to say at the moment. The pack members who weren’t injured, or caring for young ones, were limited, and while this wasn’t even the final battle, Sage knew, it would count beyond all limits…~[/glow]
[glow=chocolate,4,300]~Grace nodded once more at her eldest daughter, leaving the talk at that upon seeing the other pups drifting off to sleep. With a ‘thanks’ nuzzle aimed at Deletico, she found herself resting by his paws; their closeness comforting for a whole minute before disaster struck. Her eyes, which had begum closing in hopes of catching some sleep before morning fully came, were now glued to the fire that burned with life a few feet ahead…~
‘Not again…’
~It came out as a whisper, a thought that she had spoken out loud without meaning to. Her pups, which she thought to be asleep, momentarily forgotten, her attention keened in on the advances that were being made on their land; the loving support from her mate beside her keeping her emotions under wrap…~[/glow]
[glow=chocolate,3,300]~Vision rolled her eyes. Of course the excuse was that she was too young to understand. Before long, she’d be too old to care. It always worked this way…~
‘Hey!’<br> ~The rusty brown femme snapped once being kicked, but managed to muffle her anger once seeing it to be a sleeping Bri. He always scuffled around when sleeping. She was use to it. And since her whole litter was asleep, she should have just joined them. It was suddenly quiet around the cave, but she did not note the change of character or the blue fire.
She was too young to understand.
Something else caught her eye. Or someone at that. A wolf she’d never formally met, but had noted before. A wolf that was oddly different, yet the 7 month old femme couldn’t place it. So now, with boredom sinking in, she went to seek out this one wolf. And to figure out his secret...~
‘Wow. Where’s yewr leg, mister?’<br> ~Vision asked upon approaching an older looking wolf [Mitul of course] as she did a sweep of his features; finally placing the oddness to his missing limp. Not getting the intensity of his deformation, her voice was simply full of wonder and curiosity...~[/glow]
[glow=burlywood,4,300]-Chase opened his mouth to speak. First to his youngest sister, Rya, who had joined his side after being scared off by one of the older wolves; he was going to joke with her about being too chicken before telling her that everything was alright. Then, he was going to comment to his only brother, that his attempts to fly were very bad and he should just quit it. Then, he was going to offer Dawn an idea for a game to be played among the siblings, and he was about to take the lead in this playful act. But suddenly, he was back where they’d started, with his mouth this open…-
‘Daddie! I don’t wanna be here sleeping! I wanna be out there weeth all dee big guys! Puh-puh-puh-pleassseee?’<br> -The creamy-chocolate pup’s whining had come to late, as all his siblings had been rounded up and most were now asleep. But he refused to give in to the dream world, and instead he stood up and wiggled out from between Dawn and Tassle, making his way over to Earth and the youngest pup, Rya, who was in her paws…-
‘Mom? What’s going on?’<br> -Chase asked; his large blue-tinted eyes following his father’s movements out of the cave with awe, wonder, curiosity, and just a hint of underestimated fear…-[/glow]
[glow=bisque,4,300]-Dhamon’s stronge left hand let go of its protective grip on his sword handle, and proceeded to stroke the hair of the young centaur that clung to his other hand. His deep blue eyes focused on the bright flame that had been tinted with various colors, and the grip on his sister’s hand only tightened when the images of the second attack started playing before them. He sighed; his eyes wandering to the others of his family and kind, and then to the gathered wolves as they went silent and watched in horror. And so, it continued...-[/glow]
[glow=white,3,300]~As a hush overtook the wolf pack, one who wasn’t of pure wolven blood entered the cave. A sound femme, her rich coat was a snowy white in the dim glow coming from the outside. Random brownish 'blotches' leaking down her legs and tail were defined by the uneven light; her face coated with a cinnamon brown mask while her peculiar hazelnut brown eyes darkened around the perimeter.
Her gaze shifted throughout the crowd, landing briefly on the projecting fire and the alphas before turning to Frost. Her mother. Who, at the time, didn’t seem to be in a talking mood. Something had defiantly gone bad, but Melody had other things on her mind. She had come her to aid her family in the war. Her real family. Not those who were in the elven realm. Even though she belonged there, she was also tied here. Wandering through the dozens of wolves, her senses finally lead her to the wolfess who was suppose to be her twin. Who was now, a mother…~
‘Crystal?’[/glow][/sup]
[glow=gainsboro,4,300]-Force took this as his chance to move. Not that he wanted to remain unseen, but as everyone was distracted by the fire, must unneeded attention would be kept away from him. It took a minute for the elderly wolf to get himself upright; his old joints and bones worn with the weather. Like a silent dead spirit, the off-grey male walked towards his grieving daughter, Frost, for he had heard every word of her conversation with Lunar. Bowing his head to the alphas, whom he’d not seen in months, he came right up to the young femme who was his only daughter; his strongest link to the love of his life, Crystal Moon. And he nuzzled her lovingly, knowing she would recognize him even though they’d not seen each other for over an year, when they had joined forces to rescue Static from the vicious monster that had taken him back now…-
‘My dear Frost. I’m so sorry I wasn’t there…’
-His voice, now weak and shaky, was full of nothing but love and regret, that he had not done everything and anything in his power to prevent this turn of events…-[/glow]

[shadow=goldenrod,left,300]-She looks up to her father, crystal clear tears falling from her golden eyes. Half taken-aback, she had though he was probably perrished during the harsh winter. Yet, she knows by the look in her father’s face; he saw her mother when he looked at her. Yes, her fur had changed color since she had become an ‘outcast’, but she still had her mother’s body structure, and though her eyes had changed color, they had that same glint. That same shape, something that looked like Crystal Moon’s. And she knows when her father conforts her, he conforts her mother. But if it wasn’t like that, she would be worried. It was supposed to be like that. Otherwise it would not be apparent that he had truly loved the spirited first female beta of the pack.
Finally, she speaks, well aware how much her voice sounds like her mother. Of course, she had never heard Crystal’s voice. Only in dreams. But the similarity was there, even obvious to her. The only one’s who wouldn’t recognize it would be the ones born far after her own time- her children, wonder’s children, all the recent additions…-
Dad… dad… he’s gone. He’s just gone like that…
-She looks at the fire. And see’s within the golden glittering fire, the image of the battlefield. First the deep brown wolf, leading the way, wings outstretched. She doesn’t recognize him. And then their female beta- Blizzard. She had caughta few glances of her in her own time. And then, she gasps, almost falling to her feet.-
Earth! –She almost screams- Spirit! –she stares at the fire once more. How could she forget the face of that one?! How was it possible. For long ago, he had discovered his magical powers, and Aurora and Peril had taken the pup to her. To take his magical abilities and give them to Aurora, so that she could keep them until he was wise enough to know he had to conceale them or else risk loosing them to the rest of the pack- who would have been worried if this ‘threat’ had magic as well. And she had done so. And with Aurora’s death, his magical abilities, and hers were both released to him. Of course, this wa how it was supposed to happen. But … not like this… not at all.. she stares at the fire, deftly, her mouth open a bit- Peril!
It’s… it’s.. –She croaks this last bit out with a small choke back of more tears- It’s Adrian
-She sees the large husky wolf hybrid. My how he’s changed though. His body is huge, and muscular, easily bigger than that of the bodyguard appointed to Blizzard- who was particularly large for his race. His muscles are visible clearly from underneath his deep blood red pelt. He looked as big as Pryde, even. His eyes were both odd, and each shone with a smal glint of lavander, a gift of his mother. His ears were both tipped in white, as his lower jaw, his belly, chest, paws up to his elbow’s and knees, where the white and red started to fade into each other. His large fluffy plume-like tail reached over his back, tickling his deep pelt, making his hair stand on end.
He looks to the rising sun, a mad look in his eyes, a look that was clearly the look of a warrior, going into battle who knew it would be his last. He lets out a battle cry and charges down the hill. Blizzard and her bodyguard would be instructing troups, but not fighting unless they had to. For the risks that they could perrish was too great. Thus, after Adrian, the rest of this particular force races after, a hug sea of black washing over the hill. The two stay back more, getting out of the way so they wouldn’t be trampled a bit.
She gasps. She can easily spy Cepheus. He’s flying headstraight into battle. Into battle with his own grandson. She tries unsuccessfully to hold back a sob and runs from the cave. Somebody had to help him, and d**n ed she’d be if it wasn’t her.- [/shadow]
-She awakens fast enough to see her mother dash from the den. She lifts her eyelids groggily, her lavander eyes taking in more than her brain could register with such little sleep. She mutters a few incoherent words… then-
Mom? –her head moves as she follows her mother’s trail out of the cave. But, this couldn’t be. Her mother was still wounded- weak. But her worries re put out as she sees her flesh and blood siter, the closest thing to her- Melody. She lets out a happy wag of the tail and gets up slowly and painfully. Her joints ache from sleeping on the hard rocky floor, and as soon as she rises, the body heat of Kai and Brand drops despretly and the two start to squeak like crazy. She nudges them both carefully towards Mama, trusting the wolf would take care of them as if they were her own. And with that she nuzzles her sister warmly-
I wanted to tell you, I just didn’t know how… -She says, her eyes full of sorrow- I couldn’t over-power them, Mel. They were just too strong… -She repeats the obvious, knowing her sister would understand perfectly. And with that she looks to the doorway. She didn’t want to go out and leave the security she had finally formed here. She didn’t want to leave the Twins, Mama, Charles, or Melody. She didn’t want to leave Pryde, Lunar, Wonder, all of the one’s she had grown to love. But she has to. With that she boldly steps towards the enterance, only to see Pryde, already standing there to block Earth. His eyes defiantly say nobody wa getting through him unless he agreed. He shakes his head slowly at her.-
“Crystal, your not strong enough, you’ve worked too hard. Go rest with your family.”<br> -But she obviously won’t have any of it. Her eyes aflame with anger, she teleports out to the other side, racing towards her mother. The weakened pregnant woman would need help if was to survive this.-
[glow=brown,2,300]-She lets out a gasp as she stares into the fire, memories and emotions she thought she had overcome flooding back to her. All just as hurtful as they were when this all happened. She had thought her grandson dead. She lived her life in peace knowing there was nothing she could possibly do for him. And all this time, he was so close to her, yet under the protection of these… these monsters? They had taken him in. They must have lied to him! Cast a spell upon him so he would fight with them! He could never betray his family on purpose! He would never do that!
[oh the irony..]
She starts towards the door but finds Pryde in her way. She knows why. She was going to obey Cepheus’s instructions, and stay with the pups, but now, there was too much as risk. If Ceheus flew into battle, he could kill Adrian without knowing it, or Adrian could kill him without knowing it. There was too much to risk. Too much.-
“Pryde! Move! You know what will happen if Ceph doesn’t know who’se out there!”<br> “Your belong in here, Earth. You belong in here with your pups. They need you more than Cepheus does. They need you Earth! You can’t fight in every battle. You can’t fight in this one. I told him I’d keep you here and I will, Earth! I’m keeping my promise.”<br> -But this is too much to take. He wouldn’t let her go, but she has to get out there. She has to, it’s life or death. She still had a chance to lift whatever curse her naïve head told her must be placed upon Adrian. She could still save both of them.-
‘ugh.. get out of my way, Pryde!” –With that, she uses theonly thing she could possibly think of- her magic. Letting the very core of the earth call her, she becomes one with it. The stable ground shifts at Pryde’s feet and the very dirt he stands upon shifts away from the enterance, Pryde’s feet magically glued to it. With that, vines start to cover the enterance, overtaking the spell pryde had placed thereso that no more could teleport out like crystal had done. Slowly killing it off, she steps through the door unharmed and unarmed, ready to go warn them all. She expands her wings and glides down to meet Cepheus.-
[phsaw] [/glow]
[glow=white,2,300]-He can do nothing as he helplessly watches himself being moved and stuck by his sister. The only way to counter the spell would be to get into her head and call it off, but by doing something, he would risk harming a nerve which told her body how do perform simple functions. Breathing, for example.
If he did anything, he could kill his sister and he would never take that chance. He meerly watches with a sorrowful eye as she leaves, gliding down to the impending doom. Once she gets far enough away, the spell lifts itself and he can once more move. And move he does, instantly he takes for the enterance. He jumps off, releasing his wings in midflish. He turns his whole body face down, and he moves as a speeding bullet, quickly catching up with Earth, and Crystal. He soars higher, and higher, until he covers them all, and then uses a spell with all his might.
As he concentrates, his eye glows a light blue- the same color his mother’s used to glow. A small blue-tinted orb appears, small enough to be a marble, and from there, starts expanding.
Now it covers his paw, now his front half, now his back half as well… and it expandes, getting larger and larger, until it covers everybody within it. As quickly as it starts, it stops, his eye opens, no longer glowing. The bubble was one of protection. Any defense given from inside could still be delt- to anyone inside or outside the bubble, but that which was from outside would simply be mirrored back to the attacked. The bubble expands more as he moves his paws, his body, his wings every which way, molding it with his body language. It covers the opening to the council cavern now, and all the sky and earth around the enterance.
Of course, even such a powerful spell as this could not last forever. Once enough damage had been inflicted upon it, it too would perrish, but it would at least give them enough time to settle out the odds.-[/glow]

[glow=peru,7,300]-He finally awakes, and, along with stretching, walks to his mother, placing a paw on her’s and whinning a bit.- Mommy.. what’s happening?
-He suddenly sounds like a little child, as young as Earth and Cepheus’s newest litter, even though he’s almost 4 times their age. He cocks his head and stares at her, his light eyes ever questioning, ever glimmering. But now they don’t dazzle. They don’t glitter or flutter or glide. They’re just empty. It seems the pupy side of him had retreated back into the dream. This is not a dumb pup. He knows that there is something going on, and he wants- needs an answer. And he need sit right now.-
‘Mommy..?’[/glow]
[glow=seagreen,2,300]-She looks around and quickly spys her youngest sister, who now did not have the warmth of their mother on her. Who now did not have the conforting breath of her mother upon her face. Or the soothing warm tongue of the small, sleek, lithe female. She knows this would be the hardest for Rya, for the other littermates had mostly stuck to each other- but Rya had stuck to their mother. She instantly gets up and waddles over to Chase, who seems to be in shock his mother left without telling him anything, and Rya. She sits next to Rya, a mournful glance upon her face and lays next to her. She softly licks her sister’s inner ear.
Though she had never spent much time with her mother, she had always been there. The lifegiver. The one who settled all the arguments. Who provided the meals. The one who was always picking you up by the scruff and carrying you away from trouble, sometimes before you even knew you had found such a thing. And she already missed her, and their father, who had always been there, right beside her mother, providing the conforting assurance that no matter what happened, her father would protect her.
And now the conforting father and loving mather were both gone, leaving all five pups unprotected. Now all they could do would be look to their ‘alpha’ female and male. She and Chase. And all she could do was confort Rya, who seemed a lost soul already.- [/glow]
[glow=navy,2,300]-She does not start to instantly cry once her motheer stands up, but once the warmth from her mother officially leaves her large body, she joins in wit her brother’s chrips and pleas, begging her mother to lay back down and provide her with a meal, which she so desprety needed. But then she hears the familier paws of her mother walk away.
No this must be a mistake. She was with the other wolfess. A conforting wolfess, yes, but not her mother. And it wasn’t the same. She continues to whimper softly, still blind and deaf but starting to hear loud things and see unclear large objects. She sees the large forms of the adult wolves, moving around, though it’s all hazy. She hears the dull clanking, crashing, yelping, howling of the battlefield. She cuddles closer to her brother.- [/glow]
[shadow=maroon,left,300]-As his mother instantly leaves him, he starts to squeak, letting his cries of protest be heard. Let her feel bad, let her come back, to nuzzle him, lick him, let him know it’s all going to be ok. But his cries simply magnify when he realizes that what is supposed to be happening, very simply said- isn’t.
His mother was supposed to be coming back, but she was obviously going the wrong way by mistake. He lets his cries grow louder- harsher, and his throat begins to get very sore. Crystal needed to be told that she was going the wrong way- obviously she didn’t know, for she kept moving away from him. But then the footprints stop and the feeling, that he always got, that feeling of confort, of warmth, when his mother was close. The feeling is gone, leacing him feel weak, cold, and hungry. He cudles in towards Mama and his sister, still crying out like a banshee in protest.- [/shadow]
[glow=navy,2,300]-With the cries off the battle field, she awakens in Zhaneel’s hands. She immidiatly stands, stretching her legs back softly, in the manner of a cat. She then runs her hands through her hair, making sure it doesn’t tangle too much- for she’s in no position to bursh it. With that, she crosses the room, hugs Ani, knowing this could very wel be the last time she saw her sister, and kisses her softly on the brow.
As she mutters, ‘Stay here, Ani,” she gives her a last conforting smile before again heading for the doorway, her long tail draping after her, like the gown of royalty.- [/glow]
[glow=navy,2,300]-She watches in amazment as everybody leaves her, the words of her sister still floating across her mind. Stay here, Ani… stay here…
Stay here indeed! How could she stay here when the ones who cared about the post were all out there!? Now this was just an unrealistic proposal. She crosses the room to Jalil, standing next to her, wordless. The hazel eyed youth obviosly seems to be considering te up and down sides of just leaving and fighting with her brother and sister. So far the goods were outweighing the bads, but she still seems clueless as to how she’d sneak out in the first place, seeing as everybody knew she wasn’t supposed to be fighting…- [/glow]
[glow=white,2,300]-He watches everybody leave, finally fully awake. He looks down at the sleeping Desy once more. He knows he might see her out on the battle field, but he also knows this fight could very well be his last, just as the last fight could have been Pryde’s last. And if he didn’t see his beloved mate during this fight, he wanted a chance to take in her glory, her beauty. He wanted to go into battle refreashed, an image of Desdimonia swimming through his thoughts. Not regreting entering this battle. Not regretting everything. Not living his life in what ifs. He had learned too long ago that ‘What If’s’ just didn’t matter.
All he could do is run into battle head first and hope for the best. And so that’s what he does. He ride the shadows down, and faces his enemy- head first.- [/glow]

[glow=blue,1,300]RainDance nods once again in greeting to both Wonder and Ebony, SilverFish still hanging from her jaws. With the irresistable offer of having her son taken off of her hands for a little while... she considers. These wolves were still new and strange to her; and yet.... Ivory had easily gained her trust in the kindness she'd displayed. Besides, RainDance was exhausted. Surely a few winks couldn't hurt. She smiles and sets down SilverFish as Ivory creates the golden wonderball. Answering Wonder's question as she lets her body lie down in one fluid motion, she says =If you could just keep him out of trouble for a little while; just long enough for me to regain my energy, it'd be greatly appreciated. Smiling, she rests her head on her paws while she watched her son's curiousity. -Bah... fine time to be an insomniac....- she thinks to herself. Ah, well... sleep would come eventually... she hoped. [/glow]
[glow=silver,2,300]SilverFish kicks and squirms, not wanting to be held. However, as his mother lowers him to the ground, he wiggles in anticipation. Upon finally being set on the ground, he spots a narrow window of opportunity as Ebony lowers his head. He grins, then scrambles over to him and grabs his ear in a playful tug, letting go as quickly as he'd grabbed it. Believing he was being much faster than he actually was, he tries to hop over Ebony's back, but the Ebony's wings blocked him from doing any such thing. Bound and determined, he scrambles over the area just in front of Ebony's wings. Unfortunately, the height of Ebony mixed with the clumsiness of Phish's wings caused him to tumble right off and land with a slight thud. He shakes the sense back into his head, then looks up and grins. He'd succeeded! He spins in a circle and barks once. He would have continued barking and spinning, but the golden & blue orb had caught his full attention... =Oooohh... blue orb has likeness of the Phish!= With that, he smacks the ground with his forlegs and wiggles his but in the air before growling at the ball and jumping onto it. Unfortunately, he quickly finds himself wet. Blinking in confusion, he rolls to his feet and looks at the ball. As he could be somewhat of a sharp fella, he pokes the ball with one foot. Nothing. He pokes the ball with his other foot. Still nothing. He sets the first paw on top of the ball... nothing.... then he puts his weight on the foot and gets squirted. Grinning as wide as he could, he gently noses the ball slowly a couple of feet, then jumps on it. However, he'd not perfected the art of squirting other wolves as opposed to himself. Becoming wetter and wetter with each attack, he shakes himself off and gets quite a few of the other wolves sprinkled in dampness. Looking at the orb, he begins nosing it all over the place, weaving between wolves and around couples. He pauses to look around; tempted to leave the ball and explore, but the ball was far too intriguing. He turns to look at the ball, but it'd begin to roll down a slight slope towards Earth & Cepheus' litter. Not paying attention that the ball was headed -for- somebody, the Phish only notes that the ball is getting away.... and must therefore be chased! Scampering after the ball, he leaps towards it and suceeds in making it spray everywhere. Unfortunately, inertia wasn't on his side and he ends up flying into one of the members of the puppy pile, Dawn. Blinking... SilverFish shakes himself off and looks at the new pup, the ball momentarily forgotten. =Phish. You....?= [/glow]
Rhia cringed every so often, but these pains were becoming predictable. She could feel when they were about to hit and knew when they were going to leave. Finally taking a moment to answer Honor's question, she half mutters =I believe our children are making their grand appearance...= Suddenly, they were no longer in the same spot. This did not alarm Rhia, however, as Honor had done this with her numerous times before. It was a simple teleportation, and she was grateful. The pains began last longer with less time to rest in between them. Without a whine of complaint, Rhia merely clenches her jaw and bares the pain on her own. Pants come on occassion, but mainly she held her jaws clamped shut, for fear of any sound escaping them. At the moment, she felt like growling & snarling, telling everyone to get out an leave her her privacy. Even Honor. Wondering if this was normal, her thoughts are interrupted by another pain and she only clenches her jaw tighter in response. This was going to be one hell of a day.
[glow=orange,2,300]Ra had had a dreamless night, thank the stars, and was now lying flat out on his side under the everwatchful eyes of Mitul. His soft golden fur hung loosely about his frame as his chest kept to a steady rythm of rising and falling. Rising and falling. Somewhere in his mind, he could feel the sun rising. He wanted to go out and bask in its natural warm glow, but he didn't. He merely kept to his empty mind and deep sleep.[/glow]
[glow=Blue,4,300] Mitul smiles, watching the pups. He took careful note of Rhainnon's condition; she was practically a daughter to him. Then again, many pups were... it was a shame the fellow had no children of his own. His face was drawn slightly. Having gotten no sleep that evening, he felt older than he actually was. Of course, losing a leg and living to tell the tale while hiding in a den as the rest of your pack bravely gave their lives after a sleepless night comforting a boy without vision... hell, that was enough to make anybody feel old. His thoughts were interrupted as a young femme as she approached him. Taking note of this, gentle old eyes and a few tail thumps greet her. He noticed what had caught her eye; the same thing that caught the attention of most wolves. He smiles warmly; he'd grown quite used to the question. =That's a good question, miss.= He considers his wording carefully. There was enough stress in the air, he didn't want to add to it. Yet he understood frustrations Vision must be going through at this age, and he wanted to treat her as an adult. As an equal. =Summers ago, our pack had a litter of pups, much like any other pack. They were wonderful children,= he tries to make this part brief as she surely wouldn't be interested in the youngsters. =but there came a night when their lives, as well as the other pack members' lives, were at stake. There had been a misunderstanding; a mother bear had wandered into our territory with two young cubs. Somehow, we came between her and her cubs. She grew furious and attacked, as any mother would do for her own children. We hadn't realized why she had attacked; but we needed to defend ourselves. We'd planned poorly that year; our den had but one entrance. With the alpha female digging frantically through the back wall to move her pups to safety and the alpha male fighting at my side, we held the bear off for quite some time. Finally, our lady alpha had broken through. There were far too many pups for her to carry alone; and the loss of our alpha male would have thrown depression and tragedy on the pack. I couldn't let those children grow without their father.= He pauses, trying to figure out how to tell the next part without glorifying himself too much. He'd done what he had to do: his duty. Clearing his throat, he continues. =The alpha male reluctantly backed off after some persuasion, then it was just me and the bear.= He pauses again for dramatic effect. True, he didn't want to glorify himself... but what was an action story without the action? A little glorification couldn't hurt... =I could hear her cubs calling somewhere in the background, but the pack was making their escape between us and them. The bear charged; but I never backed down. At first with a display of snarls and growls, then with a good nonfatal attack to the ears. Unfortunately, she was several times my size. I recall there'd been a great pain to my back leg; then all at once I'd awaken within the metal bars of a human clinic. My leg was gone and in its place, white bandages.= He stops there, uncertain if Vision was still interested. He was full of stories from life before this pack; if he didn't stop somewhere, they'd all become a consecutive string of words with no beginning and no end. [/glow]
[glow=lavender,1,300].~Rya~. , having been safely tucked away by her mother's forlegs, is the first to notice her suddenly missing body. She groggily turns as her mother gets up... and leaves. Wide eyed, she sits there for a moment before trying to go after Earth. Unfortunately, one forleg was still asleep and she tumbles to the ground in a mess of paws and wings. Letting out a few puppygrunts, she uncoordinatedly scrambles to her feet again, wide awake and terrified. She managed to catch sight of an almost heated arguement between Pryde and Earth, then with a frightening tremble of the ground, Rya flattens herself to it to avoid losing balance. All at once, her mother was gone. Rya stares at the den entrance, not realizing her mother had -flown- out the door. Suddenly, Pryde was gone too. Rya's entire world crumbled. Even her father was gone. She was too scared to even cry over it. She didn't even acknowledge the loving lick she'd received from her sister, Dawn. Her blue eyes only watch the door, trying to put two and two together. She glances back at her siblings; the pile of pups that came from the same flesh & blood she did. She loved them all... but they simply weren't Mom. Without acknowledging Dawn, Rya tears off at a full speed puppy run towards the door. Mom had gone through the door... and wherever Mom was, that was where she intended to be. There was -no- way Earth was leaving without her, in her mind. [/glow]

[glow=purple,2,300] -hearing all the different pups crying, most from Earth's litter she stands, slowly for her bones too are old with age...Gathering her strength she makes her way to them, her blind eyes unseeing..Yet seeing the pups as someone had described them to her. Hoping this would compensate enough for them..- Sshh Now...Your mommy will be back soon. -she says softly..She begans to hum a song she'd heard Fyre sing to her own pups once-upon-a-tyme..And hoped that the light soothing melody would pup the pups to sleep-[/glow] [glow=lightgreen,2,300] -She watches them all leave, and is tempted to follow..But she'd just promised her duties to this tired mother. -poke poke- Curious... Rya is running towards the cave entrance, and yet a wolf just lied down around her litter making sure all pups were accounted for. Did... somebody stop Rya? or...? Did I miss something here?

In practical terms, the old wolfess collected the pups and plopped down by them. It was just hidden under all those words...]

[glow=green,2,300] -Mama opened both eyes simultaneously as Crystal left, and refocused upon the pups. Slowly, the old wolfess grasped each by their scruffs and pulled them even closer to her, closer than they had come. She nuzzled them both, but both eyes were on the entrance. Both were filled with worry.- Shh..hush, children...it will all be okay... -she uses her softest voice-[/glow]
[glow=orange,2,300] -=Tweak looked at Spirit, alarmed, at hearing those words. It was time already?! she had just gone to sleep! she stands, looking about her, a paniced expression carved into her impish features.=- what do we do?![/glow]
[glow=yellow,2,300] =Tassle was sleeping soundly when his mother left. He did not even give a tremor as an older wolfess crowded him with his siblings. But now he rolled over on his back, and opened his eyes. The first thing he did was peek over this wolfess's forepaw, seeing a few pack members gone...including his parents. He blinked, unconprehensively. Then he threw his head back in a wailing puppy howl.= MAMA!!!! DAAAD!!!! =he fell backwards, twisting on his back to stand again=[/glow]
[glow=yellow,2,300] ~Hematite nodded shortly as Lunar ran off. Looking about her slowly, with sharp feline eyes, the foxette ran like a black blur to the entrance as well, and leapt over it. Seeming to hang in midair for a moment, she spread her bat wings, and began to glide down. She came to fight, and that's what she would do. She was a bit fearful on the inside, but on the outside she was as solid as stone, and her eyes gleamed a vengeful grassy tone. She was soon out of sight, gliding on a heavy downdraft, looking like a small black fog~[/glow]
[glow=green,2,300] =the faun shuffled to his hooves at the sound of so many clicking claws. His eyes widened, and he fumbled around, looking frantically for his quill and parchment.= ITS BEGUN!!! Ive missed so much of it already!!! =grasping his things shakily, he galloped, a bit cramped from his rocky slumber, and sat on the edge of the cave. he put his spectacles on, upsidedown in his haste, and began to scribble all that went on=[/glow]
[glow=red,2,300] -Omen's eyes shot open, fully awake instantly. He trotted over to look over the edge, thinking. He ran back to where he had lain, and began to sink into the stone, seemingly asleep. but his eyes were wide open, and became a glossier blue than usual. he focused upon what went on below, and held the image in his mind, having flashforwards to the future, sudden and horrid. he cringed in his body, but stayed alert in mind-[/glow]
+Graeboe lay still, oblivious to what went on. he could almost be dead, for he hardly breathed, and his eyes were faded over+
=Avalanche was up in a flash, hastily looking over the edge then retreating back to look at the remaining members, wondering what to do. The alphas were gone! he looked back over the edge. he should be gone too! but he looked back at the others again. what should he do.....his wings were old...and could hardly support him anymore...but it had to be done. He made a running leap to the outside dawn air, and half fell, half glided after his alphas=
((and i think thats everyone? gosh..that'll have to change...i've gotta have more charries ^^^^^^^^^))

Rya screams loudly & shrilly as unfamiliar jaws wrap around her and carry her back to her siblings. She struggles in protest, flapping her wings and kicking wildly in panic. This wasn't right. She was supposed to be with -her- mother, Earth. Her heart pounding faster than she ever thought it could, she settles down somewhat as she is set with her siblings. Her eyes were still wide with fear. This wasn't right. True... she should have been comforted by being with the rest of her siblings... but she wasn't. Tassle's sudden scream scares her out of her wits. Wriggling out from between Chase and Dawn, she says =Mom's right out there!= as she indicates to the door with her nose and eyes. She continues to squirm, preparing to make another bolt for the door. She didn't understand why Amtul had stopped her before; Earth was out there and it was only right that Rya be with Earth... or so Rya thought.

[wow. should have replied way earlier. meh.
i saw matrix reloaded. It was wonderful and, as previously mentioned to DK, kiano reaves is super sexy. *melts at guys with big muscles*]
[glow=seagreen,2,300]-She stares at Rya, blinking, seemingly stunned at her sudden outburst. This... wasn't Rya. True, she had never spent much time with her younger sister, preferring the rugged company of her brothers, but from what she had learned by carefully watching, Rya wasn't one for random outbursts. Rya was always calm and quiet, and.. and.. quiet! This Rya was trying despretly to get to the door, to participate in a battle to the death, in which she would just be trampled to death. Not Rya at all...-
Rya, it's ok. They wouldn't have left without saying goodbye if they thought they wouldn't be back...
-She says quietly, using the naive logic of a puppy.-[/glow]
[glow=peru,7,300]-He frowns at Grace. He was too old to be cuddled up like the younger pups, and consoled with a soothing tone. Nanook had told his the sand had been covered in blood. And in the looks of the pack members, he's have to say there was some sort of fight going on outside, even though nobody was obviously going to tell him. And with that, he makes his daring move.
Using the wings he had just recently discovered mastery over, he hovers a few feet in the air and then glides towards the exit, just to peer out the side and look at what was happening, but he misjudges the distance and glides clear over the ledge, out into the air, facing a hundred foot drop at least. He howls with fear, trying to keep his wings outstretched so he could catch a current and, worst comes to worst, glide down unfarmed and wait at the bottom for somebody to come rescue him.
But the air had been shifted when Pryde had created his huge protective bubble, and it no longer seems to want to cooperate with the pups still-weak wings. They collapse in and she continues to pummel through the air, curled up in a cannon ball, even once and a while brushing up against the side of the mountain, which at such a speed, feels like a bellet brushing up against his body every time such a thing happens. He yips every time and soon he's covered in blood. Of course, the lightest cuts seem to bleed the most, but being a meer 7 monthes, he's completly unaware of this.
All he knows is that all he sees is red, rocks tainted with red, the ground, closng at an alarming speed, tainted red. Everything red, sticky, salty. And everything hurts. Hurts so much. He no longer whimpers when he bumps against the mountain. He no longer yelps, or shuffles and trys to unfold his wings. He was moving far too fast and the ground was closing in at probably only 40 feet below him at most. He was starting to loose the will to fight it.-[/glow] [I was slightly inspired by rya's post and figured, why not make poor Bri a little less innocent and a little bit more hardened. What could possibly happen? ^.^'')
[shadow=maroon,left,300]-He feels like yelling out at his sister. He feels like hitting her, slashing out at her. How could she stop calling? How could she stop calling out for their mother! Traitor! This meerly adds to his enthusiasm as his wails become more high pitched, his voice starting to loose itself.-[/shadow]
[didn't type it in word so don't know how long it is. probably extreamly short though. ahh i'll live. and you will to. because i said so. HA!]

[And the beat goes on…]
[glow=steelblue,3,300]-Wonder nodded as the stranger settled to the ground, allowing him and his own kids to watch over the young child. Mere seconds later, war had broken out. And Wonder knew where he would be needed. One look at Ivory, and he stood to go. But then, his eyes caught onto something else. Something smaller then he. A wolf? Yes. A pup. A blur. And then, it was gone.
Within seconds, Wonder replied the flash in his mind, and his eyes confirmed it. A young pup that sailed past them and right over the ledge …-
‘No! Wait!’<br> -But it was far too late. Wonder wasted no time in taking off at a full trot, spreading his dark gray wings, and gliding down the ledge after Bri. Just a foot or two behind the tumbling pup, there was little he could do, but watch in horror as the figure before him jammed against the rocks; blood pouring from his every cut.
It seemed wrong; for such a young thing to get hurt like that. It just wasn’t right. What could have made this pup go off and…<br> The gray adult was taken away from his thoughts as Bri finally came to a stop on solid ground. By the time Wonder reached him, mere seconds later, the young pup was still as stone. Swallowing the lump in his throat, the adult placed his paw on Bri, and with a blink teleported them back up to the council cave and by the bluish fire. The look on the parents face when they’d see their son was already haunting Wonder’s thoughts…-[/glow]
[glow=lightsteelblue,3,300]-Ebony’s smile from playing with the Phish wore off as the battle started. In somewhat slow motion he watched Bri race past them and topple down the side of the mountain only to be returned, bloody and broken, by Wonder. But that was nothing compared to the damage going on outside. He turned to his sister and nodded at her request, knowing it was time to act. Things here were somewhat under control. He was needed outside.
Running past GW, Ebony shot her a look that simply said ‘don’t follow’ although he knew that the adventures femme would probably do so anyway. Spreading his black wings, he flew past the cave entrance and disappeared into the morning air; only to teleport down to the base of the mountain in a manner of seconds. Time wasn’t to be wasted…-[/glow]
[glow=gray,3,300]-The images captivated his mind. So many warriors. It was worse then the first battle. And the last one would be even greater. The very thought made Amaroq cringe. Then he snapped out of it.
Nodding at his sister’s commands, the wolf took to his feet. That was all that it took for him to go off into the fight. He needed the approval. Turning to Destiny, he was surprised to see her gone. That was his girl, always getting to the battle first. The pitch-black, white tinted, wolf couldn’t help but smile as he trotted out of the entrance, spread his black wings, and took off in a dive down the mountain and towards the battle. He would see his family through this…-[/glow]
[glow=beige,3,300]-Okay. So it was about time. Honor was starting to grow frantic now; for the fact that he was going to be a father in a short while just sank in…-
‘Alright. Just take it easy and hold on, Rhia…’
-He nuzzled her softly, trying to sound somewhat comforting yet not getting what the shewolf was going through. As one of the opposite gender, how could he? He looked around, maybe for someone to help them, not knowing how else to act. This was a first for him.
Just then, the voice in his head startled him, but he let it slide as the words it spoke made sense. Seeing a ‘thank yew’ back to the source of the call, he closed his eyes and let instinct, along with magic, take over.
Their settings changed again. This time, they were higher on the mountain, on a soft bed of furs. A bright fire burned by them. The rising sun was seen through a large ledge. And they were alone. Out of the hustle going on a floor below them.
The hazel brown color male stood and walked to the fire, giving Rhia some space; as his blood now told him to do. With a sigh, he started pacing back and forth, finding it hard to stay still…-[/glow]
[glow=chocolate,4,300]~So it was continuing after all. What could she have expect? Of course it wouldn’t be that simple. Well, at least her family was safe. Or so Grace thought. Then, something in the air called her. Maybe it was nothing, but the feeling all mothers got when something was the matter wasn’t to be overlooked.
The shewolf turned around, her eyes scanning the cave and landing on the spot her children sat. Two were accounted for. Her eyes wandered more, and landing on Vision talking to one of the pack members. So that left…~
‘Bri!!!’<br> ~She caught it a second too late, for when she turned again, she could only watch her younger son disappear off the nearby ledge. It took her a second, and it hit her…~
‘Deletico! Hurry! Bri just. He. I saw. And then!’<br> ~She yelled with fury, taking off towards the ledge and preparing to jump off it after her son, not having the words to explain what had happened to her mate. But Wonder beat her to it, and she froze while watching the older male glide after her boy. And then they were still. And then, they were gone.
In seconds, Wonder was back up with her bloodied son on the floor by the fire. How could this have happened?~
‘Oh my god, Bri. What did yew do?’<br> ~Grace fell to the floor by her son, her eyes tearful as she bid the young pup to be okay. To get up. To smile and say he fooled her. To be anything but what she knew he was. Painfully, and awfully injured. Close to dead…~[/glow]
[glow=chocolate,3,300]~Vision drifted in and out of the conversation; her short young attention span only tuning in for the more interesting details. Once Mitul was done, her eyes wandered back to him from the flashing fire. She had no idea what was going on around her…~
‘Wow. Yew’re really brave!’<br> ~She commented in a childish voice; her tail wagging at the stranger who’d treated her so fairly. She was going to keep her eyes on this one. His stories were cool…~
‘Well. Thanks for the chat, mister. I’ll catch yew around!’<br> ~And with that she disappeared into the crowd to find her family and tell them of the adventure she’d had; not knowing what had happened…~[/glow]
[glow=burlywood,4,300]-The robust young alpha sat wide-eyed and open-mouthed as his mother proceeded to disappear after Cepheus in a manner of seconds, leaving him and his siblings with these strangers before anyone could do anything about it [long sentence].
What in the world just happened? Why had his mother, like his father, left suddenly without answering his question? And why was an unknown wolfess coming to them and gathering them all up; acting as if she were their mother? She was far from it, and Tassle’s wailing snapped the young male back to reality.
The shaggy creamy-chocolate pup stood from his spot and stomped over to Amtul; his complex dark blue-turning-evergreen eyes narrowed at her as he stood before his siblings. His head bent down towards the ground and he let forth somewhat of a growl; the fur along his back rising…-
‘Leaf us alone, miss wolf stranger person, or I’m gonna haff to bite ya…’
-Chase stated in his most daring voice; his eyes flashing with unknown puppy anger as he stood his ground; believing that he had to protect his littermates from this shewolf no matter what happened. Behind him, he could hear Dawn trying to comfort a terrified Rya, and that only added to his eagerness…-[/glow]
