[glow=springgreen,2,300]-Isis walks up the slope to the new council cave and sits...she wasn't calling a meeting, she wasn't really sure why she was there, other than the fact that she needed to think..Although she was one of the older packmembers, for once she felt like she knew nothing. She wasn't a great healer, and she would never be a warrior, her petal like wings and petite frame prevented that. She knew she would be little help in the upcoming war..Another war, with only two sides, good and evil. Two leaders, and one was Pryde's brother. She wondered how he was dealing with this, ever since the meeting back in the elven realm she'd felt clips of her past come back to her, bits and pieces she'd hidden from herself. The trauma that had come with them had erased them, she couldn't even remember seeing most of it. They were, of course, about the War of the Clans. How long ago it seemed, it was before their mother died, it was the war Fyre died in, it was the war that not many members left had fought in. But the alpha pups remembered it, the beta litter remembered it. She was sure the elders remembered it. She wondered breifly how history could repeat itself. She knew Lunar would be readying her allies, sizing up the enemy, but from a far. Few wolves had returned, and those who had stayed hidden in the longer grasses, in dens and caves, never traveling alone for one of NightBlade's pack members might attack, but she was alone. She was quite alone now, thought hidden. Her coat blended in nicely with the soft white powder that was all around her and under her feet. She reached the entrance to the cave and stopped, sitting and looking over the land. She closed her eyes as yet another vision over took her. She trembled slightly-
-It was dark, a cloud of soot and dust overtook her vision-self in seconds. The sounds of magick and elements could be heard on all sides, she could dimly hear Sapphyre, how she missed him, talking to a group of deer...Everything, everyone was covered as the soot overtook them, then it settled and it was easier to see. The line was divided, there were white wolves on one side, black on the other, with merely a few of the opposite 'sprinkled' in between. Isis dimly heard her mother's telepathy as she watched the blue sheild hurtle into battle. Her mother's last battle she thought breifly before she was hurtled forward in time. She was inside a white dome. It illuminated the battle feild, many wolves had stopped, staring. She located herself, and Lunar, standing in the back. How small she had been then, barely old enough to fight yet they'd joined the war as much as the seasoned warriors. She recolleted how they'd fought over killing survivors, it had seemed so silly then, they'd compromised to wait for their mother to decide. But their mother would never decide. She watched as WhiteFyre was hurtled against a boulder and bound by vines. She watched StarryMoon murder her mother, heard her mother's last words. She watched as the clouds cleared. Her mother spoke breifly...and watched as bands appeared on each wolves leg, a bit of power for each. She feels herself hurtled forward once again and...
-she jolts back and blinks...How jealous she'd been of Lunar, always the special priveleged one. She'd hated Lunar for so long, she'd been the youngest, the runt, the one who didn't seem to matter. She concentrated for a moment and the band on her ankle fell off...She'd forgotten about it, the traumatic expierences. Everything..When she'd been cursed as a Crescent Wolf, branded like Lunar, she'd been so angry. Unhappy with the fact that she could no longer control her emotions, her powers. But slowly she'd learnt control. And then she'd finally forgiven Lunar once and for all. Now she was a respected elder. She looked at the bracelet for sometime her green eyes glittering with the tears she'd never wept. Sure she'd wept over her mother's death, she'd missed her. But now, now she remembered how her mother had died. Slowly, first one then two..and then many tears leak down her face. Not many wolves knew of Fyre now, she was an old alpha, a wolf of the past. All of the wolves who'd known her save Golddust and MoonFire were dead. She sighed heavily..wondering where one of any of her pack mates were. She was tired of being alone, she wanted to see Wonder, her pups, who would always be pups in her mind. She knew now what her mother had sacrificed, and she knew also that she could finally forgive her mother for what had seemed like desertion. She knew that if she had been in the same place she would have sacrificed herself for her children, her mate. She could only hope that the band might help her recover some of the power that she'd given away, she'd lost in the Elven Realm- [/glow]
